FREEZING Wild Camping / Camping in the woods in a Hilleberg Soulo / Chicken Curry / Shoutouts
Probably for the last time until next winter I take out the Hilleberg Soulo out for a wild camp in the woods, a little overkill I know but had a toasty warm night while there was hail and a frost over night getting down to around -2c (freezing) love wild camping in freezing conditions 🥶
I had a couple of beers, cooked a chicken curry and answered some questions from an Instagram story.

I love the idea of going camping to try and shift a hangover, I'm deffo having a rucksack packed and ready at all times just for that 😅. T shirt hack is the nads intit? I was using the Trekology 'strapon' pillow as a rule, but my Thermarest started failing and I wonder if it puts too much strain in one place on the seams? At least with the tee, although it's heavier you get a bit of spare clothing. I wonder if a sports bra would do the job but be a fair bit lighter? 🤔 Loved this vid mate - obviously not your most enjoyable camp as such (you mentioned the Soulo being a bit claustrophobic in the woods) but you get more and more comfortable being completely yourself on camera , it's great to see. Yeah I was feeling it a bit after the night before on this one 😅 hair of the dog worked a treat though… Yeah it seemed really cramped, definitely just for the harsher environments for me from now on, think I’ll dust the tarp off for the next woodland one! Nice camp.having extra space is so good I only use 2 person tents now it's a bit more weight but for me the extra space makes it worth the little extra weight
