Hey lovely!!! I love winter camping and it’s killing me not being able to go out 😢 for someone who never gets time to herself the long winter evenings are bliss in a tent! 😍 That tent weighs the same as the CloudPeak 2 but no hood which is good and love the colour too. Looks like potentially if it was raining it would run onto the inner though? Great tip about using your sit mat to put your boots on, in the tent I’ll use that! I could never not talk in a video 😂🤣😂 can you imagine?! 😂🤣😂 me being quiet?! Nahhh 😂🤣😂 Loved the longer vid but then I love all your vids! 🥰😍

You bring a TV with you ? An issue with a tent is you are in a confined space, cant do much more than lie there or sleep, your sleeping bag in cold weather has to be fully zipped up so you cocooned. Doing the toilet in cold wether is super fun NOT.
@thaKitsune9 күн бұрын
@@DemiGod.. yeah... because we go outdoors to watch tv and be as comfortable as in our suburban houses... Your comment it's out of touch matte, being outdoors means you are going to be uncomfortable at some level, and also your entertainment if any at all it's not going to be the same as the one in modern urban society, and that's ok, that's the whole point

I have an Osprey Kestrel 48L and it has all of the features you mentioned as I wanted the same. The front pocket isn't completely mesh but has the stretchy mesh at the sides and protected by the thicker material in the centre. *Edit - Just saw in another comment you were referring to the AirSpeed/AirGrav systems. I personaly find the AirScape great and more stable with the load being closer, though if I needed a bigger one I'd go for the Atmos, though the reason I went for the Kestrel is it is still sturdy with heavier loads and the back system is adjustable. Essentially a blend of the Talon and Atmos.

I'm a similar sleeper to yourself when I'm wild camping, no matter how tired I am i seem to wake up every couple of hours or so, (Usually needing a wee) but can fortunately doze off again. I also use a bag liner, as I only have a 3 season OEX Fathom 300 synthetic sleeping bag. I have the OEX Furnace +8. Works for me as well, makes a heck of a difference, Probably doesn't add the 8 degrees they claim but I bet is 5 or or so. I also use the cheap (2 for a quid) hand warmers that stay warm all night. Throw a couple in the bag an hour before I get in and they have really warmed it up. Cheers. . 👍

I enjoyed the longer format. It just felt natural. Another vote for the Osprey Atmos AG50 or AG65. It has everything you've mentioned (not the LT version though which ditches some features for a minor weight reduction). Also if you weren't aware, the Talon range isn't actually designed for carrying weight. The 36, 44 and 55 litre versions all have a recommended load range of 7-11kg which especially for the latter of those two is very much on the light side for a backpack. For a solid back (Airscape in the Osprey world) designed for heavier loads I think it's the Aether range.

Annoyingly they changed that on the 2022 model I think. You would have to cut at least one, maybe two holes in the mesh to do that. The previous model let you do that though but it didn't have hip belt pockets and people complained so they changed it. Should have bought the older model to be honest as the straps were better and I don't really care about hip belt pockets, especially since they are too small for anything on the newer exos.

Interesting British take on "winter". AlthoughI've seen British winter camping in raging blizzards. Think the bag your looking for is the Atmos ag65 absolutely awesome kit, has everything you listed..... I also have the atmos ag lt65 which is about 320g lighter but hardly any features... very comfy but not worth bothering with imo.... definitely recommend the ag 65 though

I wouldn't say boring, i would say its "non modern urban entertainment" there many things you could do, bring or try to entertain yourself, plus now a days we are way used to being entertain all the time, its ok to have down time, its ok to be bored
