I enjoy watching the cat. Here's a helpful trick to stay cool: go to the gas station, buy 3 bags of ice, open them, put the ice in your sink, and place a fan on top. It will keep you cool all day and night.

FYI most portable AC will work for a while then you need to drain that's the reason for the drain spout and cap I used one in a camping van just made a drain hole in the floor and used a small piece of water hose. P.S. Love your vids also carpenter/electrician if you ever have questions OH AND You never said what was wrong with the van.

Love your journey, I have a few tips I would like to suggest, 1. Insulate your van, it will make a big difference in all weather, 2. Get a solar panel portable and a battery, to run and charge stuff when you are stealthing, or camping. 3. 12 volt rechargeable fan lights. I have all of these things and they make a huge difference, they don’t have to cost a fortune, there are many brands.

You should think about doing a Q & A. Maybe after a couple more days/nights in your van. You could use the community tab to let us know & submit our questions. Some of don’t use instagram so it’s nice when a KZbin channel includes their subs in Q & A’s. I notice you definitely show “love” to the kind comments people leave but I find that you don’t answer many questions. It doesn’t have to be personal life details. Just questions about your traveling lifestyle and what you do & use to live in your particular van build. Anyway just food for thought. Hopefully others would like to have that type of video too!

As a vehicle dweller myself, facing challenges and resolvjng issues are what interest me. I think his target audience is not vanlifers, but people who are entertained by the lifestyle, and who are fond of and inspired by Mateo. And so, that is understandably his focus. No judgments intended.

It's ashame that a lot of folks are using hotels/motels to do shady stuff. I recently stayed at a hotel where my 1st night there, a loud commotion woke me up. Turns out the guy next to my room had overdosed. When I opened my door, the cops were on the floor giving him Narcan. I packed my backpack and left that same night. Stay safe Mateo.
