Hello Mateo, just wanna give you a heads up, on a situation at happened to be with the buddy heater. I had mine sitting on the floor. It was off, but I left the propane in the machine on off. My cat Mani stepped on the button at the top, and I didn’t know the propane was leaking. Mani sat next to it and kept staring at it. I noticed I was getting sleepy, so I walked over by Mani to see why he was staring. Come to find out, the propane was leaking. I was about to lay down after I checked Mani. Glad I did, because we wouldn’t have waken up.😢 Now I make sure to remove the propane. Just a story I thought would help.❤

I have a friend who uses a cinder block to hold his propane bottles. It fits perfectly! He has dogs and worries his furr babies will knock it over.

from the research I've done I've learned it best to get a heating blanket or mattress pad and put it under you with a wool blanket on top to trap the heat down because heat rises. it's more important to heat yourself at night then it is to heat the entire vehicle. and Lars will just have to learn if he wants to stay warm he's going to have to cuddle up with you

Looking forward to vlogmas. Suggest putting a curtain up between the driver and rear area to preclude as much heat lost from the 2 front windows. I use a similar heater on my golf cart which I use a cover on in winter. Works well.

i’ve got a small wood stove in my rv and - while it’s annoying to cut the wood up smaller - it heats up dry and fast. sometimes we’ll have to crack a window. but definitely keep in mind extra space for firewood, lighters, fire starters, kindling, ash bucket, etc

Hi Matteo, I have a small woodstove in my van, it is nice to have but during the night he turns off and then I freeze my nose off 😂. A diesel heater is the best option I guess, especially if you live fulltime in it. Love your videos and how you treat yourself with the nice cooking 🧑‍🍳. Lars is a such a lovely companion.

You know, I used to live near San Francisco for eight years and have never been on the Golden Gate Bridge. I just realized that watching this video... add to "to do list!" Don't leave the Little Buddy Heater on overnight. You will have condensation from hell in that small of an area. It's what happened to me. I used it at night just before bed, and right after I wake up to take care of the chill once I found that out.

If you take one of those little blue tarps and put over the top of you at night, it holds your heat in.. With your heated blanket, it would probably bake you like a potato.😂
