Great bat rep as always. One thing to note (and I think it's useful) is that whilst you don't take *morale* tests from reactions you *do* take pinning tests, this is why you can use pining weapons to stop a charge!

Fr dude. Imo 10th doesn't even feel like a wargame anymore :/ it's more like tabletop xcom lol, the only thing better in 40k is the faction variety and the community tbh

Interesting, my play group generally feels that 10th edition is the best edition of 40k so far, much better than the crapshoot that was 9th at any rate.

Fun bat rep, always good to see bigger games and nice to see no primarchs. when firing a unit of barrage weapons you only scatter the first shot. the rest scatter of the first template using only the scatter dice, no d6. so the scorpius unit are actually even better if you hit with the initial template.

Just a note for the breachers who got murdered by Scorpius they should have rerolled their armour saves as they have the heavy unit type allowing them to reroll against template weapons

at 1:20:30, if he did 4 wounds to the demons, and the demons killed 4 marines, didn’t they only kill win by 1? Sergeant was alive so leadership was at 7 with -1 fear (or do demons so -2?), correct? Maybe I got this wrong.

Great battle report as always. Love the ultramarines in action. Sorry to be that guy but quick note, heavy support squads have the "heavy" unit subtype so the autocannon squad could've re rolled those armour saves against the warpfire cannon return fire :)

Oh, how I miss the bio-acid rounds on last edition's Vorax! Rotor cannons aren't great now, but with Poison (3+), they were phenomenal! Also, y'all talked about how awful the Word Bearers' legion traits are, but that "can't-be-modified-below-6" leadership thing seemed to come in clutch on many occasions in this battle report!

I love your batreps, but honestly, if you are going to play 4k+ battles you need a MUCH larger table. When you cram that many models onto a table that size it sort of turns into a contest of who can roll dice better. There is no chance for maneuver, which to me is the most important part of the game! It looks like you are playing on a 6'x4' table. For games this size you should be on a 4'x8' table, or even two of them giving you 8'x'8. At that point you can maneuver and get some more terrain and some more actual strategy into the game. Please don't think that this is a harsh critique, it is just my opinion and my experience that it will give you a much better game.

Just an import note for the Ultramarines. Their +1 to hit Strength of Wisdom is on a per model basis, not the whole unit. Noticed on a number of occasions the +1 was assigned to the whole unit.

Pinning can cause a failed charge as well, so the suzerain needed to take a pinning test when charging warp fire guys.
