I’m 36 years old and just starting up SC2 again. I’m finding that as long as you accept your skill level and league placement, you can have lots of fun. I’ll never be a GM and even if I was I’d still be losing at least 50% of my games. As long as you can accept losing and just enjoy your time, the game is amazing

You can also increase your skill level and league placement, I wouldn’t say accepting it is the only answer. Just try to get a little bit better each time you play. I’m 32 returning after a 6 year break and have climbed from bronze to diamond 3 in a matter of months. But yes, accepting your losses and even analyzing them will help you to have fun

Yea, if you’re the type of person to play SC then you’re naturally competitive, but I’ve learned to be competitive but also accept I’m a low league player. Its fine. Still love it.

It was suposed to be red/Orange vs blue/teal But they kept fucking up on the lobby to just go play faster, and it was either remaking the game or let it be. And they didn't bother with it

You say that Zerg can't contribute in 2v2, but Zerg is the reason for the 4 minute no-sharing because without that you get 200 supply of roach/ravager at the 4 minute mark and roll over your opponent. So... There is a special 2v2 rule, one that nerfs Zerg. But Zerg being predictable and having only like 2 useful units until the 10 minute mark is also true in 1v1.

I'd say the SPECIAL MECHANICS are things like Medivacs healing zerg, SCVs repairing protos....being able to share abilities that 1v1 never gets to do. Mechanics that haven't been balanced around....imagine a zerg army(hydra+Muta) with 8 medivacs.

They could be a lot better in 2v2.. the individual skill is obviously top notch.. but their synergy needs work.. i guess thats a byproduct of being a 1v1 player.. howver the opposite could be true. A 1v1 player playing team more ofte will loss the 1v1 touch, so to speak.
