This is why pro-but-not-top-tier matches are the best. Watching Clem vs Serral is like watching someone laboriously solve a math problem, and the match ends when one recognizes the logistics of the situation are unlikely to be recoverable. They all end with a wet fart just as things start getting good. This? This is entertainment of the best variety.

I did lmao. Any Serral game in general, Serral vs Clem in the ESL winters EU was a masterpiece of control. For protoss Showtime vs Maxpax was incredible, and Her0 as well, amazing players. At first it was frustrating seeing Astrea and Kelazhur play it seemed like they were making beginner mistakes, it felt like platinum players. Im a platinum level player, so thinking back at my games its like night and day. Astrea and Kelazhur are some of the best players in the world. Just shows you how special the cream of the crop of SC2 is, there really are only around 15 guys that can play at that level. by race: terran: Maru, Clem, Byun, Oliveira, Cure Zerg: Serral, Reynor, Solar, Dark, and Rogue when hes back Toss: Her0, Maxpax, Showtime, classic

yeah, Kalazhur's macro and micro is so so so bad in comparison. It's so painful to watch, he could have ended the game 8mins earlier. He don't even use grenade just F2 everything. Shooting actual buildings and not the pylons, so he can move on to cause more damage. Could have split the units and broken his 4th and 5th and robo production, but he wants everyone clumped up together so it's easier to F2. 2 Medivac drop and main army does nothing. IQ level 1000. Looks like a platinum game to me lol

@@crazzynezThe different is so great with the top 15. Like they can't do both. Purely just proxy, cheesing and choice of strategy. It's NA after all. Very limited to none factors involving micro. Sure if you cheese a lot and play like 8 hours a day.

@ the 13:44 minute mark of the first game, Astrea did a fucking pro move to take out that medivac that wanted to scoop up the marines trapped by the forcefield and actually succeeded in killing it. The forcefields worked out 100% the way he wanted to. Cant believe you misread that move winter. Clearly that chronoboost for your brain ran out. Brain not braining!!!! :D

Looks like I am that math guy. At 4 damage per shot after accounting for armor, it would take 10 phoenixes(20 shots per .8 seconds) 19 volleys to kill an orbital with 1500 health, or just over 15 seconds of continuous fire.

Never played the game, just a casual enjoyer of Winter's cast. My only experience with the game is watching your usual maru/serral/dark/clem & so on. This was different.

Mb try it out one day, the game is free nowadays. The campaign is really good and what most people play, the co-op is also quite enjoyable. Both of those modes are a lot more relaxed than what you see Winter cast. Just one of those games I liike to replay every now and again on holidays.
