Gold players are usually more active and don't just sit around until max pop. These guys got to max pop and then still just sat around for 10 minutes at a time doing absolutely nothing.

I saw the video open with reapers shoved into a corner so zerglings couldn't surround and I thought "it can't be that bad, terran knows how to hide from zergling surrounds." Then zerg built spine crawlers behind the mineral line and terran threw reapers into them to die and I realized I was very wrong.

I kind of remember when I realized that A-moving could be more effective than right clicking on a particular enemy. It really explained why I was so bad at Age of Mythology as a kid. I see someone still needs to learn this lesson, but can you teach a Veryoldman new tricks.

Talking about being old, I remember playing Starcraft on Windows 98 with an AMD K6 233Mhz, 16MB of Ram, ATI 4MB Card + Voodoo 4MB (not needed for starcraft)... Logging on Battlenet with a Dialup 56K modem using free Dial up with an Ad window that I would snipe with an application. Those were my epic gaming days, which got a lot better once we got DSL internet. (like 100KBPS down and 10KBPS up)... that was high speed. (56K modems would give you around 4 or 5 KBPS Up and Down. Counterstrike beta5 ran and was playable on a 56k also, with a ping of around 180 to 220.

I was wondering why Veryoldman didn't just attack and win about 20 minutes in, but it's probably because he thinks ultralisks suck because he can't win with them. It's insane how many fights he lost by micromanaging an obviously-superior army to defeat. If he learned what attack-move is he'd probably jump up to high platinum league.
