classic screwed up the engagement and got caught. he should have had some immortals, less archons and more carriers or voids, and he should have made sure to only leave one angle of attack. generally, if the corruptors cannot get to the skytoss without standing over some archons and some storms, the protoss is going to win. if they can, the zerg is going to win. skytoss cannot beat corruptors, it needs the archons and templars to do massive damage to them or to prevent them from engaging until the ground units are mostly cleared to win a direct maxed out engagement.

Why's everyone say armor is useless?? I get your theory as in some interactions it is much less effective, but since almost always they face lots of zergling, having +2 armor takes the DPS of the super fast attack down by almost half,zergling damage from 5 per hit down to 3...makes a zealot extremely tanky to zerglings. Secondary benefits aren't quite as drastic, but still offer a decent change. Removing 3 dmg vs just one from hydra attacks is only a 25% reduction at best (down to 22-20% if they have attack upgraded), but still a quarter less dmg per shot reducing their DPS by nearly 4dps (from 18.6 to 15). This is still a big difference when you consider the number of units. Vs lurkers it's a small difference and not very meaningful yes, but 85% of the battles are against lings with maybe hydra firing in the background. Having reduction of a massive 40% from lings and 21-25% from hydras is FAR from insignificant

the one improvement i'd like to see from zerg pros that i haven't seen at all is creep leapfrogging with overlord creep spread. Pros don't spread newly formed live tumors because they gotta wait for the creep to spread further before planting it again. an overlord that provides creep can pretty much make this a non issue. I wonder why they don't do it.

i havent played in like 7 years, during the holidays i just got the 5 ranking matchs playing outdated openers, i've been drafted in master league. has the level dropped down so much in a few years ? I was just a regular low diamond back in the days

If you were Diamond, that Masters league you got, it's an League ranking bug SC2 has. The best way that you have to check which league you really are, would be by checking your MMR and then see from your Region the MMR brackets, then you will find your accurate rank.

I think the very long lurker viper ZvZs we had years ago between serral, dark and raynor were about the most fun matches to watch, also corruptor roach vs muta ling. constant action, a single wrong engagement can be game over, and you can really see the skill of the player. TvT and PvZ are also great. I find ZvP, ZvT and PvP the most boring matches because its less volatile and more predictable. also, I think the players involved matter more than the match up. anything involving top names who are somewhat evenly matched is great. honestly, the most boring match I could think of would be Clem against any zerg other than raynor and dark or any protoss that isnt maxpax or hero, or any very mismatched player. mirror match ups are generally much less predictable. even Clem vs Serral which used to be the best match up to me is now boring since its clear that Serral cannot keep up with him in terms of speed and his game play is polished and consistent enough now for Serral to not find opening anymore.
