Wintersun is finnish metal band from nations capitol Helsinki. Jari Mäenpää (guitar, leadsinger) is mastermind behind the band and Wintersun started as his soloproject while he was still playing in Ensiferum. Jari writes all the songs. Other wizards are Teemu Mäntysaari (guitar, backing vocals), Jukka Koskinen (bass, backing vocals) and human metronome Kai Hahto (drums). Jukka and Kai are also now both permanent members of Nightwish. There is still two songs from same rehearsals Time and Land of Snow and Sorrow from Time 1 album. Forest Seasons album is great. Awaken From the Dark Slumber (spring), Forest That Weeps (summer), Eternal Darkness (autumn) and Loneliness (winter) all official lyric videos. This is concept album so it would be good to react in order. There is great songs from first album Wintersun like Winter Madness, Sadness and Hate, Starchild, Death and Healing, etc.
