3 days after Time II release, my house went on fire, and i had to save my dogs from suffocating in the smoke. While i was in the hospital, and the time me and my wife had to stay out for the house repairs, this song was in my mind. This masterpiece remembered me 24/7 i had the force of a storm to restart at the most difficult point of my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart guys, your music is pure life inspiration!!

Loneliness used to be my favorite Wintersun song, but Storm has taken the throne. Thematically brilliant. The final guitar solo after the storm has passed is one of the most beautiful I've ever heard.

The guy on the left is my face durung the 7:20 section... It just builds amd builds on the anxiety and drama, until that point comes... It's like finally having space to look at all the damage the storm has caused and have an emotional breakdown. Only to be followed by a beautiful much needed patient outro where you can feel the skies clear up and give you this gentle "it's okay.." type of feeling... So many amazing moments in this track (and whole album). Man, that riff at 2:07 - I love how the galloping kick drum rhythm is consistent and the descending guitar lick makes it way down and joins the drums with those chugs. Along with the vocals in that moment, you really feel the Storm! 🤘⚡

This is quite possibly the most chaotically beautiful piece of music I have ever heard. The storm hits you suddenly and it's an absolute power for its duration. The lyrics convey trials and dark paths. The epic climax of the final chorus and ending of the main movement of the song is Wintersun at its very best. And then... The music continues, with a haunting and melancholic clean guitar break which ushers in feelings of reflections. The heavy guitars return, and with greater meaning this time, as the outro solo hits like a freight train of emotions. All those difficult times through life change you as a person, you will never be or feel the same. But light shall return again, and as the storm moves on, you carry new wisdom, and you can face the world, as a greater person. This song, and together with the following track "Silver Leaves", mean so much to me. Thank you Jari and all the Wintersun boys for creating the Time albums, a masterpiece of music.

The beginning of this song sounds so sad. Sad leading to anger! My favorite song is, was Starchild, it has been dethroned by Storm. Storm gives me a similar feeling, like chaotic whirling stars. Amazing how this song captures the feeling of being out in a rage storm. AND the solo at the end touched my heart and I cried so much. Beautiful! Thanks for creating this 🤘

What a composition. My favorite part is always the melodic solo section near the end, feels like a much needed emotional release. I synchronized the lyric video with the master tracks from the package. The first solo section was very well animated in the video, that's great dedication!

When I first saw the whole Time II tracklist and saw that Storm lasts more than 12 minutes I was curious what it would be. I was expecting extended like version of the song, but I was completely suprised. At first I was confused that it wasn't typical kind of a song, but more kind of a background noises after a beautiful solo, which is my favourite on the album and probably favourite in general. Also the last part is one of my favourite moments in music. Truly magical.
