I'm 64, in the U.S.A. I thought music was done with me decades ago. It turned out my kind of music was still raging in Europe and I didn't know. I found Nightwish, and everything opened up from there.

Absolutely agree. Thank to covid i found the scandinavian countries carrying on with this brilliant music. Not to mention their live shows

Great new music is still being made everywhere. The sad thing is it's difficult to find because it's getting buried under the hollow, disposable crap that the majority listens. Just have to dig deeper.

Same for this 63 year old. Stared watching You Tube reaction channels of younger people reacting to songs from the 60's and 70's and this video by Nightwish doing Ghost Love Score kept popping up so one day I clicked on one a watched. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. I can still remember getting those goosebumps and saying I have to go the the local record store and buy whatever they had of Nightwish. Also just like you said from there I discovered so many great bands like Epica, Wintersun, Opeth, Ayreon and many more.

This soul- piercing masterpiece makes me utterly emotional and givess me teary eyes every time I hear it. Your analyse is impeccable as always. Great reaction. "Time II" albume will be released within few months this summer. For your information, TEEMU MÄNTYSAARI (green guitar) plays in Megadeth and has replaced Kiko Loureuro. Thank you heartely for this great moment.

Dim the lights and go to emotional journey…”Loneliness” lyrics version from Wintersun.. Jari lost his father and made the song. Also rest of the studio sessions are pure gold.

I love seeing people discover the brilliance of Wintersun. It's written with such musical intellect. And even though it sounds brutal, it's also very moving at the same time. Growling might not be your thing, but that doesn't mean you can't appreciate good music!

I wish you would react to this beautiful music by a Finnish alt-rock band Poets Of The Fall and the acoustic live performance "Angel" - Alexander Theatre Sessions. The vocalist/singer/songwriter Marko's rich baritone vocals and beautifully written lyrics really pulls at your heartstrings. I know you'll be touched. Also their "Carnival Of Rust" official, brilliant video and epic music will amaze you.

I'll second to that! Please check their altar ego band the Old Guards of Asgard too!

I regard this song as a constant climax. That alone is brilliant enough. Imagine climaxing for 12 minutes. A true masterpiece. However. The continuation to this album will be released later this year and its song "The Way of the Fire" is like orgasming for 10 minutes.
