I'm not sure anyone can BEAT the Extreme Difficulty! Illumineer's Quest [Disney Lorcana Gameplay]

On extreme mode you have to cheese it with Tiana plus Ursala's Garden or Mother Gothel. It slows her down enough that you can actually play the game.

My partner and I won on extreme building custom decks for ursula. Mine was emerald/sapphire with a lot of ramp and that mother gothel that doesn't allow characters to quest when she's exerted. My partner used amber/steel with that tiana that doesn't let her play actions once my partner ran out of cards. It ended up being close, but we did it. At that point, it's just a race for both of us to quest before all our characters die. I don't think we could have done it without mother gothel and lucky draws.

My buddy and I did the exact same thing. I wonder if its possible to win without cheesing

We couldn't even beat hard mode. We were using meta decks though; emerald steel and ruby sapphire. We tried 6 times and on the last try had a friend join with a ruby amethyst bounce deck and that was the closest we got. 2 of us had 20 but my buddy had 16 and Ursula had 38 and got her Trident back. All in all a very fun game and enjoyable challenge. Ill try out the recommendations below. Sounds like that's the answer. Thanks Winter!!

Just beat her on hard yesterday, as memy said, a Tiana and Ursula's Garden is a must, definitely slows her down and avoids many actions as I mentioned in the last video. Prince Phillip and Tink work well together. More players make it harder but it's more fun. Told my group if we beat it on extreme, i'll give them 5 packs each. You definitely have to have decks that synchronize with each other. Enjoyed the vids as always Winter :)!!

So cool to see so many of us come to the gothel tiana conclusion. I would like to win without cheesing it, but other than mother knows best and iago to discard im not sure how to keep her from going nuts wide and boardwiping every turn.

Won extreme by playing the dime/magica combo, and a souped up broom deck. Took 15+ times tho lol worth it tho!!

I beat normal yesterday and got absolutely SPANKED on hard mode 3 times in a row.

Me too! haha. Technically I still haven't beaten hard mode as I completely misunderstood how to pay for the battleground abilities. Totally thought it cost ink. And, honestly, after playing it the way I did, I think paying with ink is superior - not that it's easier, but flows much more naturally with how the game is actually played

Hey Winter, in the first game why did you discard Lightning Storm when you didn’t have enough ink to play it? Don’t all cards go into Ursula’s inkwell if she draws them and doesn’t have enough ink for them to be played? You did that with Lightning Storm and Typhoon I think.

The card draw is based on number of players, difficulty and how much lore she has. I'm fairly sure it was right
