The prestigious program aims to break cultural barriers and plug teachers into a global network of stellar educators.
The Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program is run by the United States Department of State and IREX, a Washington D.C. nonprofit.
Winthrop is one of five American universities selected to participate in the federally-funded TEA program.
