How did you pull it off? The studs are just long enough to prevent removal due to that arm on the back. I’m at anchor now, and have a spare.

It's been a bit too long and forget the details. But, I recall I had to grind down a wrench to slip it onto the stud nuts. Good luck.

Turn the engine over slightly and see if that helps putting it in a better position to pull it off

The wrench you need is known as a ( hydraulic style ) wrench

Why why why do people use thread-tape on diesel fittings. The number of D-series Ford injector pumps and liftpumps I see every month with the thread tape right up inside them is crazy. Plumbers or gas fitters Thread-tape has no place being anywhere diesel. Yes it can help stop leaks but it softens and dissolves with the diesel.

Useless. You don’t show the viewer how you got the new one back in. Trying to line up the cam without luck here.
