The new art style is pretty nice (but I hate it on the boys), but the fact that Flora looks more pale now and lost her beautiful "beach skin" makes me kinda disappointed. And Aisha...where did her curls go? Her beautiful super curly hair is just so precious! She also became a little paler... But the show's still nice, the characters and style nice... Everything.

@@WinxClubNewsflash As someone who was in the Winx YT community way back in 2010 I can say that the kaleidoscopic effect was not originally in the Italian version, at least in the one released online. In fact, the first version released online back then was the Russian dub, which is the only version I had ever seen having the effect. I believe that the kaleidoscope effect to be somewhat of a prototype that made its way to the first, early-released Russian dub, being replaced with the admittedly much more cooler effect we see in other dubs. My guess is that Winx Club HQ either replaced the Russian footage's audio with Italian or has obtained otherwise lost footage of an early Italian version still having the effect. Out of curiosity I also went and checked my Italian DVD of the movie I purchased while there in 2011 and it has the newer effect as well!

17:56 I never noticed that the Believix Sequences were that zoomed in, in the actual Season 5! XD but that makes me wonder if they reanimated the whole sequences or reused the original transformation footages and scaled it to 16:9 ratio. but then again, in the standard screen (4:3) most of the scenes were covered with the white transitions, so those extra scenes in S5 version were originally there in the first place? maybe. but maybe it was reanimated or upscaled to the 16:9 format
