Here's what I think happened: Season 6 originally had an overall different plot than what we got. When it entered production, some plot elements had to be changed or altered, I'm guesting because Nick thought they were not suitable for the target audience back then. Maybe Daphne's s Sirenix, Eldora, The Legendarium World's concept, the Mythix wands and other things were added after the overall plot was developed. This would explain why a lot of those things are not explained well.

I don't think Daphne's sirenix was a thing they add at the last time because in a video when they show some concept arts and things we see that Daphne was the first Sirenix to be designed. We can see that the winx she have in the Jakks doll were her original wings, that sirenix will look like a water themed enchantix and things like that. So Daphne sirenix was always prepared for the show.

It's a shame, really. I remember watching the trailer back then and thinking "wow, I'm so hyped for season 6, it really could be the next season 3 and 4" and then... another sort of disappointment. It has good plot points but they were executed rather poorly. There's no sense of danger because everything is fixed within the same episode. Very rarely the plot leaves you wondering if they will succeed because even when things are tough, they find a way to kinda imply they will win anyway either by adding a funny scene or by making Eldora popping up randomly to tell them something that, WOW, will turn out to be useful e.e Same thing for season 7, why introducing the "if you change any event in the past, you might change the future!" and then use it just for a tiny statue of a digmol, I was hoping to see the creators using it with way more dangers, like them needing something that was around alfea for instance during their 3rd year. It would be amazing if we had for instance an episode where they need a book that the Trix destroyed on 3x10, and they had to get there first and hide as soon as Galatea got there with the trix. They bring SO MANY cool elements, but fail to come up with an interesting plot that the fans can easily do much better. This is honestly upsetting.

I can't believe season 3 came out in 2007. But it came out in January, so Rainbow started teasing us with it all the way back in 2006. It was actually really awesome how they did it. On the Winx Club website, they released pictures of the Winx in their Enchantix form. They were those card-like images with the sparkly background that you can see everywhere on the internet now. And I think they had a short description underneath, hinting at how they were going to gain it. But the awesome thing is that they actually released the pictures with some space of time between them, so like we'd get a picture once every 1-2 weeks or 1 month, I don't recall that part too well, and they actually released them in the exact order the girls got their Enchantix.

They went with the whole concept of "doing a deed worth of a fairy to prove yourself worthy" again, but in all honesty, the Winx didn't do much to earn Mythix, it never really felt like a challenge.

I was surprised to know many of fans think that Season 6 is the worst... because it's my favorite season from the last ones released those last years! Yeah, they are many silly and useless scenes in the episodes (and the fashions are not the most memorable - except for the Bloomix outfits!). But the scenario is consistent, with no real "filler episode", fascinating... And I have to admit that I love fairytales, myths and legends so this season was meant to touch my heart! ♥ Anyway, thanks for this brillant analysis of this trailer! You did a great job! ;)

Wow! I didn't notice the book being the one Bloom was reading in season 1, that was a nice Easter Egg! Also, I'd add that the scenes where the Winx are shown jumping together the very first seconds in the trailer and that one of Icy with the magic orb in her hands (2:35 in this video) are actually recycled scenes from other anime openings (the first one is from K-On and the second one from Princess Tutu). Another thing I'd like to point out is that I remember there was this channel that uploaded a teaser about an analysis of this trailer and at some point they pointed out that there was a version where the signs in the background at 9:57 were different (or maybe I'm making things up? I couldn't find the channel sadly, if someone knows which channel I'm talking about pls send me a link lol).

This is very interesting video about Season 6 Trailer vs Final version. I kinda want to said the Trailer is really exciting to see the concept of Winx Club 6 but in Final version, everything is different and really disappointed. What if Winx Club 6 Trailer stay the concept for final version. Here's my vision and imagination: 1. Fightix (Altername names of Bloomix)-I would like Bloomix to be called Fightix, because it's feel like they fighting combat. Rewarding of Fightix is Winx must training to fight in order to earn Fightinx, instead Bloom give part of Drangon's Flame and had to make good deeds to unlock Bloomix. -As you can see, Bloom's Bloomix from trailer, the design palette is bright, while final is different. 2. Selina-According to my vision, Selina found the Legendarium and after she spell it, she become witch before The Trix decided to work with Selina. About Selina's past, she is still Bloom's childhood friend but........Selina never meet Eldora and never had a training to become a fairy. Selina moved to the next city and she found a abandoned place where she found Legendarium. -Selina is the main villain with The Trix but how The Trix earn new power than they change their outfit. According to my theory from trailer, The Trix are impressive to see Selina is the new main villain and they decided to work with Selina. Selina give the new power of Trix is Dark Power from Legendarium, which is very powerful and can beat the Sirenix Power, which Winx is not strong enough to beat the Trix. 3. Acheron will be not main villain, he will be just a myth, where Selina use her spell to destroy Winx, than he want Selina to get all Fairy's power in order Acheron get out of Legendarium. -Selina will use somewhere before final episode to defeat the Winx but Archeron is very dangerous Legendarium's Wizard, which he can destroy the world. 4. No Eldora-Winx never meet Eldora and they will had to earn Legendarix aka Mythix when they enter to the Legendarium World. -Rather to see Eldora, the Winx found The Mystical Book aka Mystical World, where the Winx must to learn how to enter the Legendarium World in order to earn Legendarix aka Mythix Power. P.S. Also, Legendarix aka Mythix are incompletable power and can use to the Real World (2D) and Legendarium World (2D and 3D) rather only using the Legendarium World. Example, Bloom success the mission by alone but the other did not and they can't transform Legendarix aka Mythix in Real World until had to earn it. There's also alternate transform without earning is Meditation but there's time limit like Flora using the meditation to transform Legendarix aka Mythix to defeat Icy, then enter the Legendarium but she noticing her forms starting to revert and she need to hurry to success the mission or else, she will return to the Real World and revert to her Fightix aka Bloomix. In order to enter again, she had to wait when the time limit is over to enter again. 5. Final fight will be Selina vs Bloom-Since I want to see how can be possible to see Selina will fight Bloom after defeat the Trix to trap Legendarium World. 6. Short Transformation Sequence-The Trailer has short transformation for quick transform than to see full transformation (Full can be see when Winx earn Fightix). 7. The Trix will take over the Cloud's Tower but that will be later when they work with Selina somewhere Ep. 14. Dang- Now I'm a bit sad; the wings in the trailer look so much better than in the actual animation- And that's saying something, since the Bloomix wings were my favorite in the show (Tynix for me is a close second, followed by Believix. The other wings were either a bit too plain for me or just didn't have enough variation in their styles).

This ss was disappointing, like ep 7-8 are pure beam shooting. I actually prefer ss7 to ss6 bcz the few last ep there was some intensity when the trix battled winx. I think the dark witch power is made by dark sirenix + politea power

They started making their clothing lines more "matchable" so that it's kinda easier to tell that they're all a club. Also I'm assuming it was easier to distinguish commercial lines like that, or potentially it would be easier to use the same fabric for all the dolls!
