oh, Aisha turned out amazing! The Morphix tail is INSPIRED and I love it so much. I especially love how the bone details and the crown also look like bleached coral, it helps drive the evil vibe so well. I'd be interested on how would you guys do a Dark Stella, especially since turning the power of Light evil is always a treat.

I imagined a story, how could Layla turn this way In one of her battles, she was very brutally hurt and fell to the storming ocean. Everyone thought that she died, and it was impossible to find her body. But Layla survived. On her last peak, she casted an underwater breathing spell, and tried to keep all her bones and flesh on place with morphix. She layed in the deepest cracks of the ocean ground, hoping, that someone will find her, help her, that her family is seeking for her. But nobody came. In complete darkness, Layla lost both her hope, and her kind and humble heart. That was the moment, when she started to become of what we see now. At first, she tried to save her legs and belly part, but they were completely useless under the water, and too damaged. So she found the skeleton of some water creature, and used it as a wire to her new tail. A lot of magic went for her eyes finally able to see in the darkness without any source of light. For fins and underwater breathing organs to grow. To heal every wound she had. While every young fairy got their silly Enchantinx "transformation", Layla actually transformed into something new. A monster. Soon rumors started to grow, about very dangerous creature, who drowned and ate a lot of fairies and other creatures. But no one could recognise their long lost princess in this really beautiful and angel singing mermaid. They were all stunned by her colourful body and beauty, but adoration quickly erased itself, as soon as they dive in after her, and saw her bone tail and very, very, sharp teeth...

I had this idea of a transparent body on a mermaid for a months in my head! I must say that your approach (transparent segments with hollow bone space to fill) is not something that I was thinking of, but it is brilliant :) Another great work, girls! Your creativity always amazes me :)

That tail is maybe the coolest I have ever seen on doll customization! I think i could be done without a 3D printer as well, which would be neat to make (sculpt the tail, cast the parts in silicone, sculpt bones, cast resin in molds around bones). But 3D printing is so much fun!

The molding casting process was my first idea, but it would require a lot more let's put it simply, work 😅 also we don't have too much equipment for casting (vacuum chambers to cast complex stuff seems necessary) so printing just minimized the risk of failure (which we failed a few times anyway)
