Absolutely, during the cold war when India said we will be neutral and join no camp, western nations said if you are not with us then you are against us. But, USSR then now Russia, had no issues with India's stand. Then during and after US and NATO waged war against India's interests but Russia helped India with arms, technologies related to refining, agriculture, manufacturing, space, Pharma, etc. Fact: Indian leaders wanted to focus on its own development as India came out of Colonia rule from UK, so wanted to get help from US and Russia both, without participating in any camps agenda. But, west choose to undermine Indian interests and waged Rissia-Ukr type war with India, by arming Pakistan in the name of fighting terrorism.

India is not neutral. It is heavily biased and this is born out in statistics. India is the biggest importer of Russian arms. Its oil purchases have gone through the roof and as Putin said himself, fertiliser sales to India have grown x eight. This is just recent stuff too,... Russia and India have a long friendship. India has now seen the difference between Russian and Western weapon systems in real time though, so it looks like they are going to have a big rethink as to who they purchase their weapons from in the future. They have been found wanting. Not just in Ukraine either. Every, dollar, pound, euro or rupee etc, that goes into Russian coffers, will help towards the continuation of this unjust war. Slate me all you want but what I said is the truth, unfortunately.

The only people really profiting from this war are arms dealers and scrap metal merchants. There is never, easy money, in a war.
