This show lasted a lot longer in other countries, like the UK and Australia, over the US, where it only lasted a year. I think part of that was the fact game shows were in decline by the late 80s, with only Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy immune to the fallout. It wasn't until Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in 1999 when the genre was revived.

Actually for all the board game collectors there is a game called "Smart 10" which is kinda played simular to wipeout.

Same! I fondly remember being eleven, avidly watching the daily game show lineup on USA Network in summer afternoons in the early ‘90s, drinking sweet tea out of a collectible plastic “Batman Returns” Catwoman cup I got at McDonald’s.

Buzzr might, they recently got BZZZ! on the lineup from Ralph Edwards, and Buzzr's bending over backwards for us, and forget GSN they gave up when Rich Cronin left.

There's a station on TV called Buzzr where they show classic game shows. Someone should email them and ask to put this show on the lineup

Wipeout isn't owned by Fremantle, so that's not going to happen. You'd have a better shot with GSN, if they chose to air something other than Family Feud.

Buzzr only airs Fremantle Worldwide gameshows. Wipeout, the Tomarken version, is a ViacomCBS presentation (CBS Television Studios/2013-present Paramount Television)

Odd choice to game show to bring out of mothballs, but give Gametv credit to bring out something GSN or Buzzr likely won't bother with. If they run the shows in order, and WIpeout bowed on October 8th on Gametv, this Monday 11/5 will be the first episode with the contestants' names on the podiums and the first episode to allow returning champions if the car was not won in the bonus round. Whether they picked up the full run of this show is unknown.
