Happy New Year Rachel to you ,James and Luna. I value the post reviews as I have yet to dip my toe in the water for DP. I have learnt that it needs to be a good size but I don't wAnt it to put me off, rivers of glue etc. So watching your reviews is pointing me in a direction of where to buy good quality. I was given a 20x20 of a bird and that's all I have done. Not a great result, so don't change, your posts have helped massively.

Happy New Year Rachel. I’m finally getting a chance to catch up with KZbin now that the Christmas guests have gone home 🙂. When you were talking about the blue pottery I was bouncing up and down going “I know that one, darn it I know that one. What *is* it?!?! Come on brain!” And I’ve narrowed it down to either Wedgewood or Royal Dalton. Wedgewood do that lovely blue porcelain with the white decoration on it, which feels really delicate when you pick it up, and Royal Dalton do a lot of white and blue china often found in table sets in homes. I’m loving that picture of Luna! Happy New Year to you and your family.

I understand the guilt you're speaking of. I lost my sister as a child. She was 16 and I was 10. Every milestone I've reached as an adult such as graduating school, getting married, having children, I've had that guilt. I've gotten to experience so much more than she did, and it hurts. But at the same time my view of grief as a parent is completely different. The idea of my children being sad in situations that should bring them joy because my husband or myself have passes is heartbreaking. I don't want grief for me to stunt their lives in anyway. I think the idea of that and the knowledge they could never know how much I love them are two of the most terrifying aspects of parenthood. Growing through grief is so important to self-awareness, but please don't let survival's guilt steal anything from your experiences! As a parent, that is the last thing we want for our children...no matter their age. All my love!

I found the first year afterthe hardest for sure. My mind does the same thing to me yours does, the anticipation of the pain leading up to those "special," days is harder than the actual day it self. We do the best we can. Feel sad when it's needed, feel joyful when we are able. It's just how it works.

While I don't envy the time you'll have to go without your regular paycheck, I'm TOTALLY jealous of the time you're going to have to chill and relax. I REALLY wish I could manage to take a couple of weeks off of work to stay home and take care of some things that sorely need attention. Also, I need more stitching time!

Hi Rachel, my husband passed away in May of 2002, two days before his birthday so there was that but the first Christmas was very hard, I was trying to get things ready for my grandkids because it was not far to them, they were young but they knew things were different but we made it through it, just want to share, thanks again for your time that you but into your channel.

Hi Holly, my advice is to watch unboxings and see what stores you'd like yourself. Since everyone's preferences are slightly different, I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction. Some of my fav stores of this year were TreasureStudiosArt.com, Diymoonshop.com, diamondartclub.com, mysticaldiamondart.com, and EverMoment on Aliexpress. As for the pens... My pen shop will be open soon but if I'm ever using a pen in a wipnchat I always link where I got it in the description of the videos so you can find that information quickly and not have to wait for me to respond. See I don't get where the clear cover is poured glue came from? I've had paintings from Aliexpress that have clear covers and when I've asked if they used poured glue they have told me that they use double sided tape? It has me really confused lol

Hi Sarah, I won't presume to know exactly what every store does, but in general, this is my experience. Double sided tape has an opaque (white, yellow) cover, while poured glue covers are a plastic film. Again, in my own experience, Laojiyuan and Treasure Studios Art were the two stores who did not use tape but a mounting adhesive and a clear cover.

I know how hard it is to loose someone . Our family house burned down and my nephew got trapped and died inside december 2 2019. This christmas is so sad. No one wants to celebrate. I cope by doing dp and watching your videos
