Open January's Booty Box and Craft Along Kits and see what projects are in store! In January's kits we sent out a variety of colors/shapes of cabochons and 20ga + 24ga wire. This project works great with 20, 18, or 16ga for the thick wire and I love to use 28, 26, or 24ga for weaving the net bezel.

I just wanted to let you know how very much I love your teaching methods. You are extremely detailed and add suggestions to help on small applications or techniques. I first saw you a couple of yrs ago when you made a gorgeous dragon eye cuff. It was that video that introduced me to wire wrapped jewelry. As a bead weaver I had only worked with headpins to make diff connections and slowly have widened my horizons as I go. It was your beautiful cheerful and genuine presentation that stayed with me. How generously you share your knowledge is truly a gift that I hope you receive recognition for as well. Thank you so much for giving of yourself and thus being my initial inspiration to expand my craft in this area. Your work is as beautiful as your personality. You are a priceless gem!

If your wire is bending, try using a rubber hammer first. Using a higher gauge core wire is definitely helpful, but you're here now. Sometimes I find stopping and taking a rubber hammer to what I can reach helps a lot. (But be careful, don't hit your weaving wires!) Meanwhile, listen to Yvonne. She is quite literally the best teacher on KZbin

I came across your channel when looking for a tutorial on how to make some thing out of polymer clay. What I was trying to do didn’t work out but I just let your channel play and started working on something else and I must say I love the way you talk about crafting, and even though I was making something else some of the things you said really resonated with me like how sometimes your projects don’t come out the way you like, but craft for the love of crafting. I’m definitely a fan and love you work ethic.

What a great tutorial!!! I love the netting and the bail. I just wish that there was not so many ads that interrupted the flow. The ads are super loud when they came on and seemed to interrupt about 10 or so minutes. I am looking forward to your next tutorial!!!!

Heads up, some of those scraps in your scrap box can still be used! From the glimpse I saw, you can still make some small short loop head pins that are perfect for shoving into clay pieces that need them... and you don't have to worry about how short they are, if you take them out after baking, dab them with superglue, and put them back in the Hole. :) I also use scrap wire when I need just one or two small jumprings for a project... some of those small pieces would be perfect for just one or two rings and you can make them match what your working on. :)

Hi Von! I always love your tutorials!! But I can't see half of what your hands are doing because you are out of frame so often. Maybe you could tape a square on your work surface to stay within your camera angle? Just a suggestion. Again, thanks for sharing!

Hey Yvonne; have you ever tried out aluminium wire to wrap please? Overhere in Belgium, I find much more aluminium wires at suppliers than the copper based ones 😕.

Hay so I like Maori bone carving, and carving bone animals and stuff ,I just did a few bone and cow horn rings and a horn dolphin and horses Hoff bird everything is kinda my own stile and just somthing I do when I get inspiration and just as a hobby. Could I please ask you a few questions? How much do peacock feathers cost you .they are a invasive pest in my area. I want to have a go at making a korowhi ( Maori feather cloak) using like chest and normal feathers from peacocks for the bulk of it and the tail feathers for the edge.have you ever made one ? I don't want to do it the full on traditional way .I was thinking I could sow my feathers to a peace of old wool blanket, or maybe onto a peace of old cotton sheet I can the sow it to a blanket . Do you have any thoughts or cheats I might be able to use
