Holy friggin crap, this is *soooo* cool. I'm cursing myself for over-buying all the round wire I did, and for making myself promise to go through (most of) it before buying any square... *can't* *wait*
@RaftarkJewelry5 жыл бұрын
i'm sure its doable with round wire as well! I use a lot of half round and square, but thats just my personal preference. try it out with the round and let me know how it goes!

This is substantially more attractive than using two pieces of half round over the tops of the stones. This weave exposes so much more of the stone and gives the appearance of a proper bezel.

Hello, excellent instructions,thanks for sharing your knowledge! Question, what keeps the loop from becoming loose over time. It seems something may easily catch the far side of it and lift it up, releasing the stone?
@christinewessels45862 жыл бұрын
This is a beautiful setting. I’m new to wire wrapping and have about 9 months under my belt. I really want to attempt to create my own pendant design and I have a beautiful tear drop that I’d like to accent with a few CZ’s along the rounded edge and I thought this might work if I switch to cabs. So thank you for this tutorial. I’ll definitely give it a go!

That's a good question! i actually think it would work just fine with round, you may just have to space the stones out a little further. I'm a sucker for half round, I buy more of that than any other shape so a lot of my techniques utilize half round but could totally be substituted with round or maybe even square
