I reversed the mounting foot on mine immediately when I noticed it was going to rub…works perfect.

Did the same with mine. Doesn't rub. Doesn't bottom out to fender.

I had the same issue on mine and used a few washers as a spacer.

I assembled mine 180° from how yours is with the light still oriented wire down

Glad you caught this so quickly. We checked ours and the same thing is happening. This weekend I will remove the light and try to get a longer bolt and spacer and see if that works. Please post if you come up with any solutions and I will do the same. Thanks
@corywebb5537Ай бұрын
Yeah, I just had a little nut.I used along with the spacer that made it bigger.Almost need a longer bolt but it will work
@mrjonesbones128 күн бұрын
@gregb878 flip it upside-down and do away with the spacer . Flip the linkage on the light as well works great. No clearance problems and light adjust no problem as well
@gregb87828 күн бұрын
@@mrjonesbones1 I added a little longer bolt but flipping it upside down is probably better. Thanks for the tip I will change ours this week!

How could you NOT feel that GRINDING??... wowza...
@BeautyBeastRCАй бұрын
yea I noticed it wasn't right instantly and I was losing my mind trying to figure out why it wasn't working out correctly. Thought I had missing something but eventually realized I should just add another spacer lol.
@chopdog1972Ай бұрын
Same thing with mine. I flipped the light now the fender hits when shocks compress
@corywebb5537Ай бұрын
Yeah you have to add something as an extra spacer
@mrjonesbones128 күн бұрын
@@chopdog1972 flip the light linkage also .did this on mine works great
@mrjonesbones127 күн бұрын
@chopdog1972 flip the linkage on the light also. I mounted my upside-down and flipped the linkage at the 2 joints on the light. No clearance issue and the light adjusted fine for night.

Would you happen to know what the front motor connector looks like
@corywebb5537Ай бұрын
Yeah. But the only way I can think of showing you is to upload a little short with it. If you would like

Hey, I don't know if this applies to everyone, but my Predator came with two makeshift spacers on the bike rack labeled disassemble. I was able to utilize one with the spacer that came with the headlight and it seemingly fix the problem.
@corywebb5537Ай бұрын
I had little disassemble labels on the back rack.They have an extra link agenda.For some reason, you take those linkages out and connect the rack straight to the frame.And then you can get the screw in there for the finder to reach.
@vmitch5033Ай бұрын
@@corywebb5537 Same here, my bike just arrived and knowing of the problem described here, I attempted to find a fix before taking it out. I didn't see any other use for that link, so I used one as a spacer and was still able to use the same screw included for the headlight.
@corywebb5537Ай бұрын
@@vmitch5033Whatever works😂. I almost did the same thing.I was just a little worried about it protuting downwards , but, I found a little nut that worked good enough
@vmitch5033Ай бұрын
Sorry to report that my makeshift solution did not work. The setup caused my beam to reflect higher than desired. Unable to adjust it to a desired level.
@corywebb5537Ай бұрын
@@vmitch5033Yeah, there's only one way to do it.You have to find a little nut.Or something to use as an extra spacer like I did
@mrjonesbones1Ай бұрын
I flipped the linkage on the light at the joints so that I could mount the bracket upside-down with no spacer. Mounts better and works great.
@corywebb5537Ай бұрын
I had thought about that , but I was worried it hung down too low and the compression would make it hit the fender

@corywebb5537 no issues doing it thos way and the light adjust perfectly also

UPDATE. I told them.I don't think it's going to be an issue since I caught it early and they agreed so they was fast to work with me on a situation and said if they make anymore in the future they'll be sure to add two spacers if necessary. They've been quick to respond and I like that. Plus they send you a little bottle of the paint for touch up.So I can fix it easy

I wouldn't let that slide. Hold them accountable.
