I just have to say this... this series "technique critique" has so many of my peak interests: accents, science, medical stuff, spy type things, however lawyers and things regarding law have never been of particular interest to me and so I only watched the courtroom ones because I love the series BUT they've ended up being my favorites. She is phenomenal, so well spoken, she has this calm and highly intelligent air about her but not in a "I'm smarter than you" way that a lot of professionals (specifically lawyers) can have sometimes. I would hire her in an instant if I ever needed a lawyer

Cogent and accurate, thanks. Please do something about in camera discussions between only one lawyer and the bench officer, which I see often in The Practice. Also, comment on lawyers talking to their clients while both are together in a cell. Law enforcement NEVER permits the lawyer to interview a client in the cell, for a myriad of reasons: Passing of contraband to the client, physical injury to the lawyer, etc., etc.These interviews are always done with counsel OUTSIDE the cell. Also, while I recognize it's more dramatic, lawyers are never permitted to climb right up in a witness's face while the wit is testifying on the stand. Also, male and female prisoners are never incarcerated together in a cell, for obvious reasons.
