Just came across this video. You are clearly a great trainer, and taught me so many tricks for when I eventually get a puppy!

How about eliminating jumping - would you add that in a different clip perhaps? Many thanks, you're doing great work

Thank you and what a great suggestion. I will try and add a video just focused on jumping as it is a VERY common problem.

Have one excelente in appartment but very distrating in the walks, allways eating grass and earth, and going to people who are eating, ignoring me calling for her, should i have to walk with a bag of food to get her attention e not living me?

Raquel, There are many different techniques and tools to get your dog to walk nicely on the leash. The fundamental concept is that the dog should be paying attention to the handler (i.e. you) on the walk and not walking in front or pulling. Using treats to reward good behavior is always a preferred technique in training. But the reward should be for paying attention to you. Yes, you can lure your dog back to you initially but food rewards can become their own issue if the dog only performs a behavior for food. It best to offer a mix of rewards for good behavior. One time it can be food. Another time it can be affection or free time to sniff.

Hey man why are you trying to ruin the dog. You’re taking a true hunting dog and kill it’s nat behavior.

I see where you’re coming from. But it’s never bad to have a dog on heal. You’re not going to diminish their hunting instincts by showing who is alpha.

I hunted with my Whpg and he knew when to heel and knew when to hunt. They are super smart and can distinguish different environments well.
