I wanted to find the best camper van USB Tap for my Ford Transit Connect Camper. I wanted the best looks and a nice size and i think I found it with this bad boy. Thanks to @LadyBugout for the idea on how to raise the height of the tap.

@sue keys so the pipe before it was squished by the locking screw is a 25mm outer diameter. When this is in the bracket it has 1 mm freeplay so the bracket must be 26mm inner. It is probably sold as a 25mm fitting. Hope that helps 😁

Hi mate, great work in making this work! Raising it up is super useful and I’m planning on doing the same in my camper. Bought that tap last night after watching your video and it’s already been delivered this morning. One quick question, what did you put around the pipe insulation to match the grey tap housing?

I used the pipe foam and then found a sticky back vinyl that was similar colour and stick that on. I'm planning on 3d printing some bits for it soon. So there might be a different look coming in the near future.

@@FordTransitConnectCamper You've got me thinking! 3d printing an extension definitely seems like being the best option. My bro has a 3d printer so thinking of giving it a go, just wondering how to colour match with the existing body. Have you come up with any plans on how you are going to do yours?

Not thought about it yet, I would want to build it from one piece or at least as few pieces as possible. Not sure yet what colour, I might try and find something the same but if that doesn't work then not sure. Watch this space, if I do it then it will be on the channel
