So, I picked up a wireless charger, but there are 5 wires. I guess each one goes to brakes, nav, infotainment, power, and something else.

Will this always remain on and drain the vehicle battery unless to physically turn it off or does it cut off with the vehicle?

It will operate similar to the outlet it taps to. That being said, even if it is "ON", when a phone isn't charging it draws milliamps (even with the LED on) and it would take months to drain the battery on your vehicle so it shouldn't be an issue.

No, this is for the full center console not a middle jump seat.
