Just tried to generate an xkto00en remote for a 2010 toyota Avensis.When i choose the 2009-2014 Toyota Avensis in the xhorse app it generates a wrong chip!! My customers key has a dst80 id72 transponder,how to i do this with my mini key tool? I tried 'generate' transponder as a dst80 id72g but it didn't work. You have a bmw video 2010 doing spare key with Autel im608 and you do not remove the cas unit. So this customers vehicle 2009 bmw same 5 series. Should not need to remove cas either, no?

@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE i have jbox coming too with my im908. Autel have a coverage checker. Since the last im908 i bought and sent back because it never covered iveco and this shop told me to buy obdstar and cgmb because would do same vehicles together as autel but leave me money to buy many lishi, yep since looking on the coverage checker, now autel have removed iveco from it. Iveco was there and it made me buy the autel as had a customer same time with iveco. Since they checked with Germany and found the tool did not cover iveco they had to remove it. Ha ha. They did say though that iveco is coming at the end of the year. The autel when you look on the coverage checker covers loads of good vehicles. Both bench and via obd. Porsche it showed it covers lots too. Will try obdstar tomorrow on that porsche cayenne 2007. Key blade cut on dolphin 005 and then remote generated key tool max and see if obdstar can program it in.

Id4d63 bit and id4d83 bit are a bit similar but not... 4d63 is cloneable but i4d83 is not there for you have to use a superchip to generate the id4d83 .. u have key tool Max?

Sorry to ask..how to know which xhorse remote I need to use when generating a remote? I do know smart key needs prox key, but how do I know if I need wired or wireless? Yes that is correct depending on weather the transponder is soldered on you will need wireless.. but also if you look on the key tool max it tells you of you need wired,wiress and universal prox in red letter in the botton of the generating screen

Yess to me its way better than the mini vvdi!! Check out my full playlist under vvdi key tool... and yes I believe your able to clone just the transponder (online) if its a megamos 48 ...you have to download the xhorse app off your phone and link the tool to make sure your online... i would generate a wired remote .. and just put the transponder separately... i never tried a wireless universal remote ..but its possible it can work...

I've seen a lot of your videos where you're using the Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max to program remotes and I'm wondering if the Key Tool Max can do the same thing as the tool you're using in this video. Can it program the Xhorse Universal Wireless Remote and the Xhorse Universal Wireless Remote with proximity? I can't find anything in the documentation for the Key Tool Max that indicates it will do what you're doing in this video (naturally I found it difficult to find any detailed examples of what the Key Tool Max can do). Just got into the vvdi and xhorse stuff. Do the wireless remote keys program with the chip on Ford remote head keys? Like say the ouc6000022 FCC remotes? Or do you need to on board the remote after the chip is cloned/programmed?

If im correct if the remote is self programmable you can make the remote just look on the information screen when your about to generate the remote it has to have chip number under transponder but mostly those are for newer honda self programmable remotes,gmc chevy self programmable remotes , and the jeep,chrysler,dodge remote self programmable key fob .. if the chip is soldered on the circuit board it means the remote is self programmable ... so basically you can generate any key head remote/fob that has the transponder soldered on to the circuit board like the phillips 46 transponder i havnt tried the ford newer key head remote ..but i do know ther are soldered on there...

Ok so found obdstar does not do ford. A customer of mine I cit his tibbe key and programmed the remote by switching vans ignition on and off 8 times but the transponder would not turn off immobiliser. Needed programming. Tried ling shot with key tool max to clone the transponder but no. Saw online a tool pad 3 could do the job. So leaving my customer with half a key and not knowing the solution, I went for it. I have just bought Autel IM908

Saludos el wrangler es del 2014. I was talking to the owner and he told me that he has no problem whit the original remote. Only when he use the xhorse remote. Maybe i made a mistake i don't know but i am going to try to reprogram the xhorse again. I have no trouble whit con otros auros solo con este Jeep. Thanks

hi, informative video thanks for sharing. What is the difference between the Wireless and the Super Remote. It seems the wireless remote and transponders can also be programmed to other remote type/IDs just like the Super remote. I don't see the difference between them.

The super remote, I believe you can program the chip and remote seperately ...the wireless you have to program everything together and only works for keys that have the transponder soldered on the circuit board... like the ones i showed you on the video...

You can generate remote keys that have a soldered chip to the circuit board with the wireless universal remote flip blade ... the remote is self programmable..that means it automatically programs when you program the key ...

in key tool max under vehicle you have generate Porsche then cayenne and top one says 2008 Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Feedback says it worked. So do you need to then try it diagnostically as it said generated. I see in your video you simply put xhorse key in reader after pressing transponder clone. I dont see you generate the key first. Does this mean for cloning you dont have to generate first...?

Listen dude great to be here. So I have a porsche customer Cayenne 2007. Wants a spare key. How do I do it. I have OBDstar Keymaster plus. I have not seen a Porsche Icon in that. I have seen a VW Audi Icon though. Did on the orange OBDstar see Porsche on the screen on google. Dont know how or why though it was there. Also I have a BMW 520d customer 2009. How to do his car spare key too. (Your help mega appreciated)

The obd star keymaster plus does not support Porsche, if you want to do porsche I recommend the Vvdi2 programmer , for the bmw you need to remove cas module do eeprom extract file ,precode key and match key to vehicle.. How long have u been doing automotive locksmith? I really recommend you get a better programmer if you want to get into high end luxury vehicles.. I recommend you get the im608 pro. Its a really great programmer for advance programming..i really dont personally like the obdstar .. not hard feelings

I recommend you get better equipment for better vehicles coverage... in the locksmith game you need multiple programmers .. one programmer does not cover all vehicle coverage.. theres vvdi2 , Autel im608pro,smartpro .. theres alot good programmers out there in the markey but you have to make good choices when buying the right tools...

@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE yeah im608pro I had uk version im908. The shop whom sold me the obdstar said I get all that the Autel machine can do in the obsstar but for much cheaper. So far the obdstar has done Land Rover l322 and vauxhall insignia, vauxhall corsa x 2, Vivaro. All good. Oh I also have CGMB for doing Mercedes IR keys. windows platform. Works great. And CG PRO but no manual and no youtube videos so dont know how to use it.
