Hi, thanks! This was helpful. When you clean the piece with soap, it’s necessary to wear gloves, because your skin has oils, so you would be putting invisible marks back on the piece. If I don’t touch my pieces after washing they take patina very well. Thanks for sharing.

(rubbing my mortal eyes in disbelief of the visage before me) How can it be that you've made such Artistry, A piece so grand that looks as if it was conjured by a mage from an enchanted realm. To me it's near magical how the amethyst looks like it has upward motion creating an inverse heart/bosom above it. Likewise the look of the smallest stone, the trillion having the point of greatest strength in that it is holding that movement/harnessing it to a captured stillness. You achieved much here, Sensuality and Elegance, Movement and Stillness, Color and Shape Juxtaposition, and a "Yin/Yang" between line and curve. I say Well done Maestro, I do thank you for sharing your talent/creative gifts. And humbly do I Salute both your seen and Unseen Efforts!

Great video. I have pendants that are wrapped with copper wire, and my cabochon is made with resin. Can I do this without hurting the resin cabochon? What types of wire I can purchase without oxidizing it? By the way, this pendant and stone is gorgeous.
