Perfect. I’ve used that side for the 12 Volt adapter. I’ll try to find the connector for the USB on the other side of the dash.

All good! In fact the Kawasaki adapter is already wired to plug into that plug so it makes sense. Good luck!

Thank you. There's a "relay" you pointed to. I didn't hear or get what purpose this serves. Can you explain?

It provides 12v power to the auxiliary connectors when the ignition key is turned on.

Hi, very helpful video. Wondering, what is the size in mm of the bullet connector?
@viajarMOTO5 ай бұрын
Not sure on the mm size, but they are the standard bullet connectors that you find at all auto parts stores.

Size is 0.157” 22-16 AWG. There are multiple sizes. Get the right ones!

Excellent video, very clear, easy to follow and understand! Thank you! You totally changed how I had my Zumo XT wired. I'm doing it your way.

Are you guys gonna visit the Redwoods? I’d love to see a video about that

Perhaps someday - not on this trip, however.

Are those connectors available on 650 Adventure ABS? I can't see up into that space and don't want to take apart the bike if they are not there. I do have the factory aux lights.

I’m sure the connectors are there but I cannot speak to if they are being used for some other auxiliary. If I were to guess, I would say they are not being used and are available for connecting a GPS unit.

They are there on KLR 650 Adventure model but are used to power the 12V outlet on the dash. I personally never use it so I disconnected it and plugged my Garmin NAV instead.
