Wiring Nissan Leaf cells with BMS

I am showing you how to wire Nissan Leaf EV cells in a 4S configuration for 16.8V application.
12 Volt Victron inverters will accept up to 17V of DC input. My system has been been running for years and it has been used in 2 different buildings. I am charging my LiIon cells to 4.1V per cell to extend their life expectancy. Float should be disabled on charge controllers, or set to 10% below Absorption voltage. Absorption time limit is 2h.

Please give idea how to connect if we have 4 modules and in each module 4 cells are in series

Why did you stop at 16V? I am guessing your using a 12V inverter which draws many amps very easily and things tend to get hot quickly. I went to 24V. Nice explanation on the wiring.

I only charge to 16V, or maybe 16.2V to extend the life span of these cells. They are already beat up in a Nissan Leaf and were replaced with 72% capacity remaining. I don’t need full capacity. Nothing gets hot in my application and I was welding the other day. Victron inverter takes up to 17V input. 24V or 48V systems are much better than my 12V one, but I had these components lying around.

How have the batteries held up now it's been 8 + years?

No issues with these batteries, certainly better than my Chevy Volt packs. I had some bad cells in there.

is only victron inverter take up 17.V for 16v.8 leaf battery no other 12v inverter can handle over 12v

I only use Victron components. I don't want to use lesser quality parts. You have to do your own research on other brands.
