Its pretty easy to add lights and other accessories with the aux switches provided. I added these because I needed more light when backing up the trailer at night and the reverse lights were blocked. These will give me much better visibility. This same wiring can be used to add light bars and such.

That's where I shoulda put my lights I used the back of cab lights used the same screws that hold it in placed put some tire tubing behind it so wouldn't Crack it then wired it right down the back and along the window looks good and works but now I'm rethinking....

Question. When you connected the lights in SERIES, did the lights turn on at all or were they just not very bright or something? TY

They didn't work at all.

You can't wire these in series. LED's are not like lightbulbs. LED's are diodes that emit light and diodes only allow voltage to pass in one direction, this is why parallel is the right choice for wiring them.

Connecting that red power wire from the lights to that auxiliary upfitter switch wire provides all the power it needs correct?

Hello, use either 18 or 14 gauge. 18 should be fine, but going bigger than 14 will get harder for the crimping.

Hello sir. I'm getting ready to purchase a 2023 7.3 and in the back, I need to put a DC power pressure pump, and, a DC power aftermarket fuel pump. Are there already aux wire than run back there? On my 2008 F 350 I had to run my own. Thanks. Roy, So Cal.

A quick search looks like the truck probably won't have any pre-wired switches or fused lines. So you will have to probably tap into the battery, add a fuse or two.
