Advice I got for doing a single container office (NAPIT Tech Support) was divorce the PME earth and TT it, I intended to do a supplemental rod but they said no to that, expect the next guy got a different answer. Nice tidy job though

Is the supply PME, if so should the containers be treated the same as a caravan,i.e TT'd with earth rods. Is there any other metalwork in close vicinity either above ground or below ground.Need to assess the risk of touching the container and true earth in the event of a lost neutral. Whats your thoughts?

I wouldn’t bond them if it’s on a PME earthing arrangement. If you lose the supply neutral the containers could become live. TT the containers in my opinion 👍 (not saying I’m correct but that’s my opinion 😁)

I did a similar job and I installed a supplementary earth rod to each metal structure with an Ra of less than 20 ohms and they were all bonded to the MET. I wzs mostly concerned about the consequences of loosing the PEN. There had been thefts of earthibg conductors at transformer lications in the area too accordeing to UKPN. Anyhow NICEIC engineer was happy with it.

Can you test the containers to see what zs reading you get that will determine if they’re extraneous or not ?. Most likely a tt so you don’t have to worry about pen faults.

How could you test the Zs when there is no electrics inside them?

Surprised they didn’t go with SPDs in the units. You’ll have some lovely low readings with that tray across all the containers 🤟

The containers that didn't have the tray obviously had higher readings, but still bonded them as it was still below 30,000 ohms

Totally agree with how you wire the emergencies, I’m the same, why wire it so you have to do the three hour test out of hours because all the office staff are sat in the dark???

Just advice Moving camera all the time Is make it stressful to watch your videos I know we all have different personality I know you are happy happy guy Which is nice But Is too much on video Is too much movement of camera From side to side It is not relaxing Rather become stressful to follow Thanks ❤
