What about the male 56 terminals? The insulation crimp and wire crimp are close together and the tool does not quite fit? Any tips?

I'm guessing you've done this before :D so neat! Thanks for the demo.

Helpful video. Thanks, I now have more tools I want to buy!

This tutorial would've been great, had the cameraman not been zooming in and out during the act of crimping on a constant basis (like a kid with a new toy and an itchy finger) thus rendering it impossible to watch (even in slow motion).

i would have been nice if you told the name of the type of crimping tool you were using.

Great technique and nicely presented video

I see from the tutorial that you have a tool rental program. Can you forward details? Cannot seem to match the video rsults with aftermarket crimpers despite looking the same.

Does anyone know if theres a cheaper alternative than these? I bought an AWW kit for my 69 mustang but find it hard to spend so much for 2 pliers...

That's a GREAT video. Thanks a lot.

Please redo the video with a good camera on a tripod. I can tell you really know the subject, but the video quality makes the video just about useless.

@payableonde44ep If you click on any KZbin video while it's playing, then hold down your space bar, the video will play is 'slow motion'. I know you've probably figured out how to use a crimper by now, but someone else may have the same question as you.

what about the steering column crimp? Which tool do you use?
@marksmustanggarage7924 Жыл бұрын
Must be dumb. I just don't get this flipping the tool and using the high low part. Shows you how to strip a wire but doesn't show you exactly where to to place the wire. Need more detail.

ooo so that's why my crimps look nothing like yours, thanks for the info

Thanks. I got a 87 suburban. Someone didn't crimp the insulation on my door switches

zooming and performing the crimp super quickly WHILE you're crimping is no help at all.

Your training skills are delivered as if we already know how to do it. Too fast and not enough detail. Slow down and explain what you're doing. Fire the camera man.
