I'm from Peoria Illinois my grandma would take me dwn town on Saturday's we would go to Walgreen and eat lunch at there lunch counter. Great times w my grandma. Best memories 🧓👩❤

@@larryware1 I normally keep my ears peeled for the bigger hits, and some songs from some fish toys I like are from this station, like Do Wah Diddy Diddy, Rock The Boat, La Bamba, I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch), to name a few

Nice retro stuff. Block and Kuhl was everywhere in Illinois, even in smaller towns like Ottawa. Stay tuned to a couple of videos on my channel when I document Bergner's in Peoria, and a video of all of the facades in Illinois of Carson's and Bergner's.

I met William Block back in the early 2000’s. Very nice man. I was born in 1976 and grew up near Richwoods, so I don’t remember Block and Kuhl.
