I'm glad a route-optimized press forward map won, when I heard about this competition I was like 90% sure that the best map a human could theoretically build would end up being press forward with a bunch of straight lines and wall bangs that was essentially optimized with graph theory but I'm glad someone actually did it

What also might be cool: Let people build maps and set an author time. Then release the maps for everyone to hunt for WR. This way you could award the fastest author time and the fastest possible time.

This VOD has never been posted on this channel and the mapping comp was done over 10 months ago in that time both this channel and WirtualTV has gained loads of new fan/viewers in that time. Also Twitch VODs expire after 2 months and there is a large amount of people who love watching VOD segments like this on YT. If you have seen it before no one is forcing you to watch it again. There will be a new mapping comp in the future for sure as people loved this one!
