Adding to "watching other CCs or just creators in general", is to try to find some that you disagree with, because that will help broaden your perspective on something. Like I don't agree with PQ a lot of the time, but his views are still important to me to make my own decisions on things. You can't make a properly informed decision in an echo chamber.

Hey, only found your channel a few days ago as I got back into playing WoWs on xbox - played this a bunch through the pandemic but haven't played it in years, built my gaming pc and really fancy downloading and playing the pc version but it seems quite intimidating and quite a grind 😂 whats ur advice for a new player on pc with some decent experice coming from the console version ?

Potato here… Yeah I’d value a video on WoWs client mods too. I use Aslain’s mod pack because it’s simple and easy to install. Re-downloading and reinstalling every update (average of 9-12 Aslain updates per WoWs point release) could be seen as a disadvantage but I take it as an opportunity to re-check what I like and swap between options to try and work out what combination of mods from the pack works best for me.

PArt of the reason it probably felt bad early on is because of the superfiring turret aim bug, if you were getting more and more frustrated in middle- and close-range engagements. The raised second turret will hit at a point higher than what you're aiming for. As in and setting aside things like sigma, normal dispersion cones, etc, and thinking of the turrets as firing a laser, the front/lower turret will hit exactly what you aim at and the second/higher/superfiring turret will hit a decent bit above that. Flamu just posted a pretty definitive video about it.

Do u have any advices about the most optimal camera setting for aiming ? Some time I aim right at the water line of a broadside ship and only get penetrations but not citadel hits. My main ship is Vermont.

I think what wasn't showcased in this clip is how great it is against DDs and cruisers. You were mainly shooting BBs all game but you can easily get 5k+ salvos into DDs which is really big. And that's with AP loaded.

I think comparing it with Slawa would maybe make more sense than to Montana. Different hull and different Shell arcs but overall, pretty similar accurate low-shell-volume squishy battleship. Anyway keep up the honest work.

I wonder if WG going to give New Jersey basically a HE spam version of Iowa. It still have super heavy AP shell. With 32 seconds reload. But trade off with better HE damage and shorter Flooding recovery time.

@@eiresby2344 SAP New Jersey sounds good too. Maybe replace HE with SAP nerf the reload to 35 seconds. But special thing about New Jersey Sap is that it does exact the same damage as 406 Super Heavy AP shells. Slightly worse penetration angles compared to Italian SAP. Basically it can delete a DD with well aim. Even with French Saturation.

Battleships can citadel you over 15ks, they overmatch the citadel roof. Pq also learning how plunging fire works, though needs to understand the difference between a penetration, bounce, auto bounce and overmatch. These are not the same things.

A review should be how you see it. Some games comes down to the team and the opposition and some games just are not fun. With a new ship such as this anything to quell the FOMO is helpful. A review is a review and you have followed up on that. We are human and learn as we go.

For the people who don’t play American battle ships they hate them because they don’t know how to play them American battleship guns are hard to learn how to aim because at range they shoot low so you gotta shot a little high and up close they shoot high so you gotta aim a little low once you figure out how to aim the guns they are actually really fun to play

Historically, it's exactly the same as the OTHER three Iowa class BBs when it comes to its essentials. Anything else, just like with the premium Missouri, is WG BS.
