Locke doesn’t have the feet of Wilson or the arm strength of Breese. But, he’s good, so yeah, mandatory they adjust things to find passing lanes first him. Easier said than done.

USC isn’t Alabama. But they are a dangerous offensive team. What USC loves doing is breaking close games out, or coming from behind, in the 3rd and 4th quarter with a flurry of big passing plays, usually in the 20-30+ yard range but with room for their athletic receivers to run wild after the catch. Lightening strikes. That’s their MO, what they love, what they game plan for. That’s the hardest thing for opponents to game plan against and not give up.

Without a pass rush, Moss is going to be a problem. There’s no evidence that our offense will be up to the task if it were to be a shoot out. Unless we magically start clicking on both sides of the ball I’m expecting to lose by at least a couple TDs. I just want to see SOMETHING start to click.

Firstly, thanks for the year guys and congratulations: you've gotten better as you've gone along. Really like the contrast between the 2 of you! I cannot help but think that this team is closer than some think but it will require the coaches hit the transfer portal for yet another QB, a big time deep threat at WR and a couple serious D-linemen - no more Scratch-N-Dent Sale pick-ups there., Serious threats, serious money. Serious commitments.

TVD will get a medical red shirt and most likely be back next year. Locke will have another year with playing experience and be back. Aubrey will be one more year developed. I don’t see shopping for a portal qb as the high priority. Maybe a top receiver. Definitely more line help.
