I have a lot of historical respect for Wisconsin musky fishing. The people are outstanding. That said, if you're serious about musky fishing I'd recommend Minnesota 100x over Wisconsin. And if possible, I'd recommend Canada as the top tier destinations. Wisconsins DNR simply didn't keep up with the most serious of musky fisheries (unfortunately).

If there was one bait to use in that area this time of year what would it be

I would say a silver or gold blade bucktail with black marabou or tinsel.

amazing that the “guide” can’t even properly hold a musky. He will have an Er trip in the future from the gills.

You obviously don't kno rob. And obviously don't musky fish. Gill rakes and teeth go hand and hand with muskies

thanks Madfishing.....I think I'll held plenty....unhooking fish can and always will leave some scars....maybe JOEB will pay for my trips to the ER...
