The state of Wisconsin was, is, and apparently WILL ALWAYS BE CHOCK FULL O' vintage Ludwig drums. Even here in 2019-almost 30 years after my vintage Ludwig drum collecting began-vintage and collectible Ludwig gears oozes in the sap of Wisconsindom. Over the years, I've seen sooooo much vintage Ludwig and WFL stuff come from there: numerous Super Ludwigs, classic Downbeat, Big Beat, Oysters, Sparkles, full kits, orphans, pedals, stands, jazz festivals, tympani, 20s & 30s glory snaredrums, you name it..
Seriously. Continually check the Wisconsin Craigslists, mom & pop stores, Guitar Centers and Music Go Rounds.

I love your videos especially when you do the sound effects ( alien space beep beep beep ,etc.)! I definitely want to get a Ludwig Classic Maple Kit someday when I can afford it! I have a 5 piece Ludwig Rocker kit black finish and I love it! Thanks for sharing your videos and keep the faith!

@12:18 I just bought a black Classic and it came with an orphan 3 ply 12" tom that was spray painted black and looks EXACTLY like that one with all the overspray AND it had Attack heads on it. I would shit myself if it was from the same kit since I live in Virginia. Mine was blue silk under the black abyss.

I’m still screaming for an 8x14 Supra Ludaloy!!!!! Can u imagine even more of that sound? The 5 x 14 has an amazing sound of its own, then you move up to the 6 1/2 x 14 and it’s more of the same tones and sounds as the 5 x 14, but just with more. Now imagine an 8 x 14 supra phonic?

Keith Mounts the closest is a Supralite. Just add the 1.6 hoops and 40 wire stands and you may be very close

The Big Beats are *very* nice cymbals-especially the 20" 21", 22 and 24" sizes.

I got my hands on a 6 and 8 inch butcher block wrapped Ludwig Toms. I never knew whatever happened to the 6 inch, but the 8 inch that I used for many years and several recordings, I sold on eBay about a year ago the depths were crazy in those drums.

What do you think of those Ludwig snare drums that look like supraphonic shells, all chromed, but with the generic lugs every time I come across one on eBay I try to look to see if it’s seamless- shell appears to be seamless but I never know for sure? I believe they are always in an 8 lug.

Music go Round is ok, but honestly even if you get a reasonable price the shipping is way too high on a lot of stuff. Just my opinion of course, but you'd think they would be able to do better.

Sadly my Sonors Got Damaged during the shipping Terry so Sonor is sending me the other Kit I could not afford for free Wich is the Phil Rudd Signature Designer Series kit which is cool but these things happen but Sonor is treating me good so It'll be another month wait till I get the replacement kit
