Justin, the Wise digital card can be used for secure online payments and mobile wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay. You can have up to three digital cards and replace or delete them easily. If you already have a physical card, you can get a digital one as well. The digital card is available in many countries and is ready for use instantly once ordered through the app or website. Thanks for the feedback, Ramson! To be sure, convenience is always our goal, although in the process we do need to adhere to local regulations as well. Hello, i have a question regarding withdraw money from ATM: We have to pay an extra cost (tax) of 1.75% for every amount that exceeds 200€ and we have a limit of 4K per month to withdraw from ATM. I do not understand if we still have to pay an extra cost (tax) of 1.75%, if we simply withdraw for example 1K but 5x 200€, so we never exceed the 200€ mark? Do we automatically pay 1.75% tax per every € after we withdraw a total amount more than 200€, even though each withdrawal amount per time was always lower than 200€? Another question I have is regarding the amount of money we can withdraw per month, can we manually change this value (more than 4K) and if yes, what is the maximum amount?
@Wise6 ай бұрын
Hi 🙂 You can withdraw up to 200 EUR for free twice per month - so this idea you offered wouldn't work. After you use up the two free withdrawals, a fixed fee on 0.50 EUR and a variable fee of 1.75% would apply. We explain this in depth here: wi.se/withdrawalfees. The monthly withdrawal limit is something we're unable to change, and for EUR it would be 4K: wi.se/wisedebitcardlimits.

I'm planning to receive money from my broker. Six figures from day trading. Heard Revolut can block account for inquiry reasons when larger amount of money is in transfer. What is the case with Wise? Could there be a simular problem? I'm from EU.
@Wise8 күн бұрын
Hi, there! Yes, you can receive large amounts into your Wise account. But after receiving a large amount of money, we may need to ask you about your relationship with the sender, or the purpose of the payment. This is a regulatory requirement for us, and it helps us to make sure that our services are safe for everyone. You don't need to do anything before receiving large amounts, such as sending documents to us. We review transfers on a case by case basis so there’s no way to know what information we’ll need until we’ve received the money from the sender.

If you see the option to change your balance or Jar from Cash to Interest or Stocks, you're eligible. Could you please compare rates for wise vs fidelity/charles Schwab? I am in the market and looking for a solution on foreign exchange while abroad. Could you give an example of how much money savings wise provides when compared to those atm fee reimbursed accounts? Many thanks
@Wise6 ай бұрын
Hi Yan. Thanks for the feedback! We believe in transparent pricing without hidden fees. Unlike traditional methods, Wise operates through local bank transfers, eliminating international and intermediary fees. Check out info on how we compare to Fidelity: wi.se/fidelity and Charles Schwab: wi.se/charlesschwab Though we don't reimburse atm fees, you get 2 free withdrawals per calendar month. After your second withdrawal, we’ll charge a small fixed fee per withdrawal: wi.se/withdrawalfees We always use the exchange rate you'll usually see on Google, ensuring fair and cheap money transfers every time. Transparency is one of our top priorities. That's why we offer our customers a comparison tool, which you can use to compare the exchange rates beforehand here: wi.se/comparerates

I’ve been using wise for a few years now. Love it overall, except the fact that it’s not available in Pakistan anymore
@Wise6 ай бұрын
Hi there - thanks for reaching out. Wise is available in Pakistan, however, due to changes in financial laws and regulations, we might need to make changes to the products and features we offer in different regions. This is to ensure that we continue to work within the rules we're governed by. If you've opened a new account with us, and find that you're unable to open a balance and get account details to receive money, this is because sometimes we need to make changes that only affect new accounts. It's possible that older Wise accounts have access to different features than new ones. You can still send more with Wise: wi.se/howtosendmoney. Please feel free to reach out to us over on social media for more help. This can be on X/Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, or alternatively through this link: wi.se/contactus - we're here to help 💚

Hey, there 👋 If your business is registered in EEA, Switzerland and the UK, you can only pay the fee using your business debit/credit card. If your business is located in other regions, it's free to sign up, and the fee to open account details depends on where your business is registered. You can pay the fee using your business debit/credit card, or from your business balance account. If you want to pay from there, you would first need to add money to your account.
