***** Tidus still 'existed' and was 'born' like a real person in Dream Zanarkand (the city which is based on the real Zanarkand recreated from the memories of the citizens 1000 years ago). The beginning of the game took place in Dream Zanarkand. What people confuse is the use of the term DREAM. It is still a manifestation in the real world, just like Aeons are and can interact with people/monsters. Therefore, Dream Zanarkand is also a real place in Spira, a 'summon' created by Yu Yevon. Sin attacked Dream Zanarkand in the beginning to get Tidus out of the city/to Spira..
@ChaosN01108 жыл бұрын
***** I just told you and all you remember is "It's a dream". Fayth 'dreaming' means they are summoned into the real world, JUST LIKE AEONS are manifested into Spira. The same is true for that BIG ASS fayth at Mt. Gagazet consisting of citizens of the original Zanarkand 1000 years ago which are summoned by Yu Yevon (they are 'dreaming') to recreate that Zanarkand from memories what we know as Dream Zanarkand and where Tidus comes from. you want some facts?? >>Lulu: "The fayth are people who gave their lives to battle Sin. Yevon took their souls, willingly given from their still-living bodies." Tidus: "Huh?" Lulu: "Now they live forever, trapped in statues. But when a summoner beckons, the souls of the fayth emerge once again. That's what we call an aeon."

Well put. I just have to correct you on two things: 1. Tidus did not forget he was a dream, rather he never knew it. Dream Zanarkand felt real to its inhabitants, and they also felt real. 2. It's interesting how entirely Western-centric this video views the series through. Trains, for example, are such a central part of Japanese living, and yet you compared them to the trains carrying Jews to concentration camps and to Western expansion into Native land. Likewise, there was no mention of reincarnation (which does show up in the series), but you brought up the death drive and Gaia. Of course the series pulls a lot from Western myths and beliefs and history, but there was almost no mention of any Eastern influence on the games. Obviously, the games utilize quite a bit of Eastern culture and beliefs. I would have liked to see more acknowledgement of that. Also, games outside of VI through XIII would have been neat. Tactics, for one. Uuugh, Tactics, my second favourite FF game... But also IV and V, XIV, and even the original game. Those happened. >_> All the same, great video. Nice analysis! I'm very happy you didn't neglect IX. Such an underrated game...

+Pearl Carol I only love FF7 because it turned my interest around to RPS in the first place. I loved the Final Fantasy Tactics series but I was mainly a fan of Final Fantasy 1,2,5, the real 6th otherwise known as the DS Final Fantasy 3 game, 7, 9 and 10 kind of takes last place but out of all of them I liked the older ones more. But I hear people love FF4,FF6 (though the japanese version is really the third) and 9. For me, I think lots of people love it, I just think it's a shame that the developers don't even think about it, they rather keep pumping out final fantasy games that made more money which sadly destroyed my original love for FF7 really...except Crisis Core, Crisis Core was awesome...to me anyway o.o

I have to defend FFX because there's no amnesia in play at all. He didn't forget he was a dream, Tidus didn't know he was a dream to begin with. Just like his family and everyone else in dream Zarnakand. Without escaping into the real world of Spira, and breaking the dream cycle, he would have lived a normal life. In fact, upon landing in Spira, he thought he was simply transported somewhere far enough to walk back home or whatever. Also the amnesia in the game, was attributed to him by the people of Spira who couldn't accept his explanation... just like the author of the video is doing now... nooo I have Amnesia!? Praise be to Yevon, bitches.
@maxis2k6 жыл бұрын
You're right that Amnesia is not in play. Sadly, there's an even worse issue going on. The worst plot convenience in history. There are so many times when simply telling Tidus something would solve the entire story. When Auron first meets him, when he is on the Al Bhed boat, when he first meets Wakka and Lulu, dozens of times on the pilgrimage, when Auron finally reunites with him, etc. If they had told Tidus what's going on at ANY of these times, then Tidus would have insisted on confronting Sin. Which is exactly what he does on the beach when they finally do info dump everything on him. Now, obviously they're stalling the game to let the player explore Spira and grow to understand the world. The problem with this is how the game has to bend over backwards to make this work with Tidus. Hence the plot convenience. I mean, just look at the first two hours of the game. Tidus is pulled to the "future" (out of the dream). He suddenly is plopped on a random island nowhere near anything. But a random Al Bhed boat picks him up on their way back to Al Bhed territory. But wait, if you look at a map, Besaid is the absolute farthest place away from the path they should be taking to get back to the secret Al Bhed stronghold. And why was Tidus dropped off at the farthest possible place away from Zanarkand? Why isn't Auron there to help him? And somehow Tidus gets knocked off the boat right next to Besaid? And how is going to Besaid going to help him learn about what his mission is when the people he joins up with are actively hiding the truth from him? Geez, already the story has destroyed its own internal logic, and it hasn't even started yet! Then when you finally learn about everything later in the game, the developers just hope you've forgotten all those contradictory parts at the beginning (and the dozens of others that built up before the beach scene).

Just a note, Sin is not punishing the last users of Machina, Sin simply destroy and kill indiscriminatly, the commandments and the belief in punishment against the users of machines was a lie spread by the cult of Yevon, later revealed in the game by the protagonists, leading to a world where people who had stoped using machines out of fear that was not real, immediatly came back into using and spreading new Machina in the game sequell, like mass producing airships and using guns to hunt fiends.
@horizonkage8 жыл бұрын
Yu Yevon who controls Sin still thinks he is at war. It was basically the magic users vs the Mechana users and the Mechana were winning until the leader-man Yevon made Sin.
@ttiagoox8 жыл бұрын
One thousand years ago (from the events involving Tidus meeting Yuna and the other guardians) Yu Yevon was the leader of Zanarkand and a powerful summoner. Zanarkand was at war with Bevelle, a strong military power that used mechanical technology to build weapons. Unwilling to let Zanarkand be destroyed, Yu Yevon had the surviving citizens turn themselves into fayth and used them to summon an idealized version of Zanarkand at the peak of its power. Yu Yevon gathered a horde of pyreflies and transformed them into an armor for himself, which became the creature, Sin. Yu Yevon gave the creature a set of simple instructions: destroy any machina or large settlement to stall technological evolution, and retaliate to all hostility with extreme prejudice. Sin's first act was to destroy the real Zanarkand and as the armies of Bevelle saw the destruction they retreated, bringing the first news of the great monster. Eventually, a religion was created around Yu Yevon's name, his worshipers not realizing they were praying to the one responsible for Spira's cycle of destruction. And still this is contrary to what was said in the video as Sin being a divine being made by god to punish technology, he was a weapon of war with stupid design flaws. Like, not being able to be turned off and destroing the city Yevon was trying to protect.

RuneKatashima I think that's because Jecht was Sin at that point. Remember how after Sin gets defeated, there's a long lull before the destruction starts again? +jesterdayjambi Dream Zanardkand did have a physical location near the ruins where Tidus is picked up by Rikku and Brother.. It just went undiscovered because Sin is literally the guardian of Dream Zanarkand. Sin is just a summon to ensures the protection of the more important summon that is Dream Zanarkand. Despite that city and it's inhabitants being just a dream of the original denizens of Zanarkand.. They were very much real people that were alive and a part of reality. IT's best not to over think it.
@jesterdayjambi8 жыл бұрын
lordblazer Well we're not really discussing the physical reality here. Of course Tidus and everything else in Zanarkand was corporeal. Because Yuna and the other guardians from Spira were able to see, hear, touch Tidus. The thing is, everything and everyone in Zanarkand was created by the Fayth, as well as everyone's memories. But the memories were created as if they were regular people, since "the dream people" can't really understand or know that they are indeed, dreams. In FF6, they don't travel to the dream realm. They enter Cyan's dream in particular which has been taken over by a demon. That is not the esper world. In FF10, the farplane is the afterlife and souls only becomes monsters if the summoners don't send them there. Tidus never knew he was a dream. It was something that had to be explained to him over time. He thought he was real and in a dream (and that his Zanarkand was real). It wasn't until the end when he sees his Zanarkand in sin that he figures out that wasn't real. It wasn't amnesia, he never knew. Liked the Gaia Hypothesis part though.
@Bjorick6 жыл бұрын
thank you, lol, when he claimed amnesia for Tidus, I was, what? Lol, the dream zanarkand existing for at least 1000 years, and it being dream time, it could have been longer. Regardless, Tidus was born to parents, he lived a life, and when he realized that him, his world, his life, everything he'd ever known, all of his accomplishments/achievements meant nothing, he handled it well. He made something of himself, and made a mark on the 'real world' for the sake of his world, even if no one would ever know. To me, people mock tidus, but he was a hero, when he learned what he did, he accepted it, and pushed forward, sacraficing himself and his entire world for the sake of others. Why I can't bring myslef to play ffx2, the 'happy ending' ruins everything ffx built, imho. edit: also, celes wasn't genetically created, but modified. She was still human, born to parents, but later tampered with, unless I missed something huge in that story (or there was a big change I haven't seen)

Can you guys answer me this then, this one little thing I don't understand. Namely, if I remember right, Tidus is a dream. As in he never existed at all. He's fake, he's doesn't have a soul, he doesn't have a body. He's not real. And yet he is the ONLY one of his 'kind'. He can effect the world around him, touch, feel, laugh horribly, and so on. What's more, even tho he is a 'Dream', He has a parent, a father, that Auron knew, and even met Auron back in his dream world that didn't exist. Auron is literally the one that pulls him into the real world, using Sin. Going back to his father tho, his father was an actual person, a living breathing being that was physical and living only a few years ago. Auron and many other knew about him, seen him, interacted with him, and so on before he became Sin. And if I remember the game right, his father Jet told people about Tidus, and left video recordings behind for Tidus and everything. How does all of that make sense, if Tidus doesn't exist, and was literally dreamed up into existence just a few weeks ago?
@wilkisama6 жыл бұрын
@@Jirodyne ok..... so i dont even know how to start... but basically tidus wasnt dreamed up a few weeks before the story. that dream has been going since the destruction of the real zanarkand (like a thousand years before), and is the dream of the people of the real zanarkand that were all turned into fayth to create sin. they just basically dream of a continued existence of zanarkand, where the city never fell. jecht (not jet) wasnt a real person either, he was part of the dream. so tidus isnt the only dream person to make it to the real world, hes the second. jecht just got out to the real world (no we dont quite know how or why) when tidus was young n never came back because he became a guardian for a summoner, and thus became sin after they sacrificed themselves to defeat sin, its a cycle, gives the world a few years break before the new sin fully forms and wreaks havoc again. so when jecht was a guardian fighting against sin, so was auron, auron died too but wasnt used as the sacrifice to summon the final aeon, and thus didnt become sin, but he also never went to the farplane (afterlife), he is an 'unsent' n thats probably how he could enter the dream in order to meet and care for tidus until going to the real world, which was a request from jecht, for auron to look after his son tidus, because he wasnt going to ever be able to return to him. anyway, the dream lasted like a thousand years n tons of dream people like tidus n jecht were born, lived full lives, n died all in the dream, generation after generation.

So the FF8 amnesia thing had a certain degree of sense from an in world perspective. It relates to how FF8 handles magic in general. Obviously, spoilers for FF8 will follow By and large, magic in this game is "sufficiently advanced technology". It never explains what magic is, but the tutorial screens point out that what most people think of as magic is really something called para-magic, which is an advanced technological...thing... that was developed by FF8's mad genius Dr. Odine in Esthar. This is primarily foreshadowing the existence of Sorceresses, who perform real magic (turning a couple of gargoyles into enemies who you fight as a boss near the end of disc 1, for instance.). (For reference, this is as opposed to the naturally occuring monsters who are, it is implied, the result of Lunar Cry incidents in which creatures living on the moon somehow gather together and jump down to the planet. It's FF, why are you expecting logic?) That kinda accounts for the Magic spells - all of their effects are pretty modest, relatively speaking. Even Ultima isn't that much more impressive than the hybrid of fireworks and a hand grenade. For reference, note that Magic is acquired through drawing it, either from enemies or draw points found on the field (presumably, places where the necessary energy tends to collect for whatever reason), or drawn from items that are, generally, related to the spell they form (which are often pieces of the monster you could draw the spell from. Basically, you harvest magic. Then there's summons, or Guardian Forces, a title unique to this game. GFs are spoken of in much less certain terms - the tutorial doesn't really have a point to make about them regarding the sorceress idea (which is the primary plot) so we're left to consider other aspects. Their attacks are, one and all, about as impressive as you can reasonably expect a PSX to handle. They all involve actually creating a physical entity to attack the target. For acquisition, there's many more options than with magic. Specific summons can be drawn from powerful monsters, but it's interesting to note that many of these are Sorceress related constructs, like the two gargoyles I mentioned earlier and the bosses guarding various parts of the final dungeon. Additionally, one can be found by rubbing a magic lamp (though he only really grants your wish if your wish is to be rent to pieces by a horrible demon), and several can be found living in caverns or other such places - sources that are much more traditional fantasy based. Furthermore, it's interesting to note that one such cave dwelling entity appears to form a bond with multiple people at once - defeating Ifrit in the Fire Cavern is a required course for students at the Balamb Garden before they can take their final exam. This suggests that Guardian Forces are indeed magical entities existing independently. They may be manifestations of Sorceress power that are left behind by powerful workings - this would explain why so many of the drawn GFs are drawn from Sorceress-created beasts rather than naturally ocurring monsters. (And it's entirely possible that many of the others are also constructs - there's no real backstory for where Ultima Weapon or Evolvret come from, for instance. ) So if a GF is a magical being, then how does it provide the Junctioning effects (the system used in the game to grant character customization capabilities that also plays a significant role (in a very weird way) in the main story)? There's a key line in the Deep Sea Research Facility that kinda explains this. When you find Bahamut, you have a very brief conversation with him before the battle. Squall comments on their having found the legendary GF, to which Bahamut responds with a rather cryptic, possibly poorly translated line: "...GF? I...? Using my powers... It is you humans... I fear..." People who've spent even more absurd amounts of time analyzing the story of the game (in the FF8 Time/Ultimecia Plot FAQ over on GameFAQs) interpret this line as Bahamut being creeped out by the idea of reducing him, a magical being of significant power, to a GF and using his powers however they wish. Your response is to beat the crap out of him and force him to become a GF. So now we know where GFs come from (kinda). They're beings of significant mystical power (many of them are at least somewhat representative of deities of old religions, and the most powerful, Eden, may well have been intended to represent the Judaeo-Christian God) who have been essentially enslaved and bound to the will of the humans who use them. Now doesn't it seem likely that this might have some unintended side effects on the users? The exact nature of the technology used for junctioning and para-magic is not explained, so coming up with hypotheses as to what its usage might actually do to a person according to real-world medical science is impossible. However, the game takes that step for us - the cost associated with using the power of subjugated magical beings is, apparently, voluntary access to long term memories. It's not really amnesia per se - everything I've heard about the actual condition says that simply reminding the person suffering from it of their lost memories doesn't really work very well. Also, the characters act similarly enough that it's clear none of the developmental influences are lost - Quistis is still commanding, Selphie's still a ditz, Zell's still a spaz, and Squall's still a moody introvert. And honestly, their reasoning for why it's not common knowledge is pretty solid too. Garden wants their mecenary SeeDs to be as powerful as possible - after all, they're supposed to be preparing to fight Sorceresses - people with significant magical power (which according to the lore may well be a fragment of the all-powerful creator-god Hyne). Anyone else working with GFs is also seeking to empower their underlings, for more mundane purposes, sure, but still, more powerful soldiers makes for a more successful military in traditional doctrine. So why let their recruits know that using this particular weapon is going to effectively delete your childhood memories? It's not like the average person would consider that a trivial thing to give up. And weapons research being secretive in general is pretty much standard - I doubt any nation or organization that has made any significant advances in weapon technology has ever voluntarily released what they've learned.

FFX is world where faith and religion actually hold a real power that our judeo-Christian religions claim to hold. There is a god like being that the people follow. Miracles are magic, pastors are summoners who call upon the power of saints to summon them in battle. If they disobey God they are punished by "sin"

Tidus didnt forget that he's a dream, he did not know that.
@Ryanookami8 жыл бұрын
Exactly! I'm glad someone else said it! The elements of a dream don't know that they are a dream, and the dream of the fayth is a special type of dream. From the perspective of Tidus, he was born, lived each day of his life, and was then carried through a portal into a different world. He can't make the distinction that his world was a 'dream world', and this is the 'real world'. For him they aren't any different in how real they feel. He has zero memory loss. He is just unaware that his origins of existence are the dreams of near godlike beings that are keeping the memory of a dead city alive through their shared dream. So long as the fayth continued to dream, each citizen of Zanarkand was a fully real and fully realized individual, as is made clear by the fact that Tidus can choose whether or not to help the fayth stop dreaming. He isn't simply their creation without will of his own, he is his own person who can act in his own interests. His memory is real, his will is his own.
@lordblazer8 жыл бұрын
+Ryanookami Dream Zanardkand did have a physical location near the ruins where Tidus is picked up by Rikku and Brother..

Incorrect. Tidus didn't forget, he never knew. The dream world he exists in has been around for a thousand years, when Sin was created. Therefore he was born into the dream Zanarkand. It is probably true that none of the inhabitants actually know their world is fake.

+kadsl123 thank you, I was about to write something similar! As well, if I am not mistaken, it was the Aeons who created this "dream dimension" where they could homage the great zanarkand civilazition, though they choose Tidus & Auron to go to reality / main dimension, to give it a final stop to Sin, and therefore end all existence of the dream dimension & sin, by the end, the aeons, Tidus and Auron vasnished as well... shit, that was a sad ending bruh

+Pedro Oliveira I cant be sure but i think the people of zanarkand played a part as well (remember that wall?) they were trapped and i guess, wanted to cease existing hence death? since in Spira death isnt really death but a spiritual transformation, this also explains why seymour wanted to kill everyone, everyone fears death, but if they're dead they will no longer fear dying, but they will still be alive, a good example is the high priest of bevelle, who lived for hundreds of years so you can say that dying isnt that big a deal in Spira. (unless i'm wrong, and the zanarkand wall was just spirit energy or something idk) Who was the boy though? which aeon was he?
@pedrooliveira9368 жыл бұрын
+Lan Krownet wow, great point mate, it makes Seymour not look so crazy, he had an important spirituality behind his violent actions, not that is an excuse, but changes the perception though. I think they all existed but remains as spirits, maybe trapped in Sin punishment, they did "revive" Tidus temporalily for the sake of him confronting his father / saving the world from horrible endless cycle of destruction. The kid seem just like an apparation made by the aeons, only that.

2:55 : Pretty false, Reks' family wasn't murdered. What Reks survived was being stabbed during a rescue mission by what he thought was his captain, Basch, but was actually Basch's twin brother (the bad guys had set it up so that he would bear witness of the king's murder so they could use Basch as a scapegoat). Reks survived, but only long enough to testify what he witnessed (which was all an act). The footage used was from a dream Vaan had of his brother. 7:49 In FF12 the world is called Ivalice,not Gaia.

Now I haven't had it nearly as bad as others, my sufferings petty in comparison, but with what stress I did have from some time in the army (and the problems I was using the army to hide from-parents, mainly) I can see what they are talking about with the Death drive. It's like after 4.5 years on the army, then 3 years in college, a psych class, and now this video...I agree. It's like I don't want to live anymore. I'm not suicidal, hell I can even be cheerful and happy...but I have no motivation anymore. It's like they said, just cuddle up with your favorite food and watch your favorite tv forever. It's not right, and it's not like I'm miserable 24/7, but it's like I have no energy for anything else. I'm on anti depressants for it. Not cuckoo psycho drugs, mind you, just the ones that give me enough energy and motivation to not sleep all day. Trains can also represent crossing over into other dimensions. Not saying that's what they mean here, just they can. Yeah yeah Fascism is bad, I get it, but the commies did worse. Also, I feel sorry for the holocaust victims, but if we're talking world Jewry, the part they played in genocidal Bolshevik revolution (aka Russian Holodomor) pretty much gave Hitler a run for it's money and was not mentioned. So, considering that Jews played a large part in that genocide, and it gets overlooked, and then they continue to play a role in genocide in the middle east, whether with Palestine directly or with Syria indirectly (funding ISIS). I would get nasty at all the Jews, but then I remember why the holocaust happened. The Zionists worked with the Nazis to kill the non Zionist jews living in Germany. Before Hitler and all that, many Jews were happy in Germany. Really, they were. Then the Zionists needed an excuse to create a Rothschild fiefdom, but many Jews were happy where they were, and many Jews believed that God had forbidden them from having a homeland again. So, and artifacts prove this, the Zionists worked with the Nazis to set up the average innocent every day Jew to get slaughtered in the holocaust, so they would feel their only hope was to have a "jewish" state. Problem, reaction, solution. The Talmudic Jews are usually the ones who make more trouble than the Torah Jews, and there is PLENTY of reference to the Kabballah in FF7. I kind of get tired of this self righteous pandering to the Jews, when really all you are doing is glorifying the very elite that sold out their own fellow Jews in the first place. Damn. Not only did the people who fund Israel not just fund the genocide in Soviet Russia, not just fund the genocide of the Palestinians, but also actually funded the Nazi Holocaust, on purpose, as part of a plan. God, stop worshipping your fucking leaders. Let there be a game about that. Let there be a game about Jews realizing Zionists have fucked them 7 ways from the Sabbath and rebel against their puppet masters. That would be a welcome change, instead of sugar coating the story that it was-these fascists bad, everyone else dreamy good. No, it was more complicated than that, and I would expect a long assed, detail oriented, emotional but also technical RPG to be able to cover that.

Reks wasn't institutionalized bc of the murder of his family - he was kept alive long enough to give witness to Basch killing King Rahminas and then very quickly killed off (most likely he was mortally wounded too). Which traumatizes Vaan. I luff 12 though. It's less psychoanalytical and more a deconstruction of general Final Fantasy themes as well as subverting Star Wars. It helps that it's a political drama instead of the usual WTF is going on at its core.

while this is great a few things are wrong 1. reks didnt see his family die he saw his kinda die and was killed by someone he trusted basch(was twin brother though) 2. terra never knew she was an esper 3. tidus never knew he was a dream 4. while sephiroth was trying to gain power it was more about jenova comeing back then power (i could be wrong been a long since i played it) 5. the reason sin is around and blaming machina was a lie, he was their to protect yu yevon 6. celes wasnt created she was enhanced (i could be wrong but i dont remember anything about her being born different).
@omegagilgamesh8 жыл бұрын
On point 4, no, Sephiroth's goal was to gain ultimate power. Jenova's Reunion, to reunify Jenova's body and power, was simply a means to that end. And on point 5, that's partially true. Go back to Zanarkand after getting the airship and Maechen will explain that Yu Yevon created Sin to punish Bevelle for destroying Zanarkand, but with what little will he was able to muster, as the summoning nearly destroyed his mind, he agreed not to destroy Bevelle in exchange for them worshipping him.
@tonyfava29448 жыл бұрын
thanks for clarifing those. but i thought the whole thing about jenova is take over a planet strip it of whatever it needs then go to the next planet,which is what sephiroth was trying to restart maechen doesnt show up their in ffx but does in ffx-2 and i just started replaying that so my memory on the war that is shown then is from when the game first came out and is almost non-existent now.
@simplysolus89168 жыл бұрын
+Lord Bummington You were correct about #4. +omegagilgamesh Sephiroth wasn't after power. He needed power to continue Jenova's will. With the power he obtained by becoming one with the life stream he was going to smash the planet into another planet, just as his 'mother' had done before him. (She was an interplanetary being that went from world to world destroying all life... though, "Jenova, calamity from the skies" was actually more of a reference towards Japanese views on Christianity, thus Jenova's name.)

I'd just like to state that I don't think Tidus ever really knew he was a dream. The dreams take on a life of their own and grow up, have families, etc. From everything I could gather, they're basically as real as anyone else, minus the fact that it's the dream of the Fayth that's keeping them "alive." They're also oblivious to the world outside Dream Zanarkand and are made to be this way because of Yu Yevon, who wanted to preserve the memory of his home. When Sin (incarnation of destruction that he is) finds Dream Zanarkand and destroys it, it's eventually put back together by Yu Yevon. Likely also wiping clean the memories of its inhabitants. You would think that would include Tidus, too, but I don't know. It's all very complicated. I'll just assume he either didn't wipe their memories or Tidus was unaffected by it because he wasn't there anymore.
@MrKiwitox8 жыл бұрын
+LunarD3A7H Nope, just at the end he knew that him and Jetch never truly existed. And there was no form that they would know that without exiting the dream world and learn about Yu Yevon

Yes. I will admit that there are some aspects of the story that aren't explained well enough, although I do think that people are really dumb and act like they've never read a book and learned to to take hints from things being implied and inferences. I don't think Tidus ever knew he was a dream. After it's summoning, dream zanarkand just kept going like a real city and when Sin found and Attacked dream Zanarkand probably intentionally by Jeckt so that Tidus could destroy sin
@Lucifronz8 жыл бұрын
Carlos Gallon Yeah, I think it was a mix of Jecht and Sin's nature that led to Dream Zanarkand's attack. Jecht wanted to return home, but at the same time he was still Sin, so his nature overcame him and he destroyed everything. Plus he might have been assisting Auron somewhat if he knew that he was riding him to Zanarkand.
@MrKiwitox8 жыл бұрын
LunarD3A7H I think Jetch/Sin helped Auron just to get Tidus (by then Jetch stopped being a jackass). Why he destroyed Dream Zanarkad intentionally or not, I don't know

MrKiwitox "Because that's what Sin does" - Auron to Tidus after Sin wipes out the Al Bhed and Crusader forces. Whether or not Jecht wanted it destroyed (it was his home, so I highly doubt that he did), Sin did it because it's his nature.
