Another great video. Thanks for sharing. How I always remembered colors for lights there is an “L” in yellow and an “L” in left and there is an “R” in green and an “R” in right. Looking forward to seeing this trailer finished. I contemplated building a rack to mount a welder on so I can put it on my flatbed truck and then remove it if I needed to. Then I saw this video and now it makes more sense to me to build a trailer.

Nice build going on. Can’t wait to see it finished. I just put a welding trailer together because I don’t have a rig truck anymore. Take care and stay safe.

I have yet to test it on its limits yet, I’ll go into a more in-depth review here shortly. Should be well capable of 3/8” plate in a single pass possibly more.

Good job !!! Only thing that made me a little nervous was the gas can beside the trailer when you were welding. I know we have all done it because we get caught up in the moment, but I still get a little edgy when I see it. I'm as guilty as anyone. Keep up the good work.

Nice build. You may want to reconsider the mounting location of the jack stand. If pulled by a pickup the Jack stand will be in the way of lowering the tailgate.

So what do you think of the forney 220 mp I was considering buying one haven't heard much about them saw your video on it by the way great channel bud
@samchivers6213 жыл бұрын
I actually bought that machine because of this channel. One of the most honest reviews on it I have found. It seems to be a decent machine so far, no gripes yet. My only complaint is the supplied chart seems off for mig. Maybe it’s just my welding skills 🤷♀️

Only 8 min in but, couldn't you weld a bolt to the inside of the tube behind the lights and put a nut on them for the grounds? Also as I seen mentioned I remember trailer wiring as going down the highway, the grass (green) is on your right, and the yellow lines on the road are on your left.
@j_moffitt3 жыл бұрын
Yes, welding a nut inside is a good idea for the grounds

Coming along nicely Jesse!!! Do you use a certain tip for the torch to make nice and clean cuts like you did for the tail lights?
@j_moffitt3 жыл бұрын
For anything under say 1/4" I try to use a 000 tip and go as quick as the cut will allow to eliminate distortion on thin material
