I started to get into haircutting when this whole corona thing started I just now recently got good enough to give myself a solid fade and line up. I started out with the kemei version of the magic clip and they have served me well, until I got a new clipper. I still use em for the back of my head since it's wireless and easier to cut than my new ones since those are wired. I also have a kemei trimmer that isn't super sharp but works good enough for me, I don't nick myself like I have with other trimmers.

Try adjusting the screw on the lever so you can close the clipper all the way without rattling the guard. Sometimes the lever gets too close to the machine and hits the seam. Try it

The problem with wish right now is things are taking forever. I ordered six pairs in May got three ,the other three are listed as not arriving until September. Some of these same ones can be found on Amazon for like ten dollars more than the. Wish with shipping but arriving that week. You should check the keimi 1990 black and gold plastic magic clip with the two speed motor. Or the keimi 1984/86 home metal clippers. You can catch these on prime forty to 49

I just got mine a few days ago. Theyre cool, but the bracket doesnt allow you to swap the blade for a Magic Clip blade. Otherwise, its cool. Nice Power. Great battery life. Easy to zero gap.

Will there be any difference if i set my next guide line after 0-0,5 with a 0,5 guard fully open instead of 1,5? Because seems a waste of time since u are gonna cut on it with 0,5 open. Thanks

The .5 is only to finish taking the line out, not a whole step. If you do a whole step it will stretch the blend funny

Would be interesting how you find those £25 skeleton usb detainers that are being sold everywhere claiming perfect skin cuts. I purchased some to tape my line in my beard and mine wasn’t that impressive, still use a foil to do my beard to skin.

"We need to support the more expensive brands" That mentality make no sense. I paid $30 for a pair of kemi 1986 and they cut like butter. They also have a 6 hour battery life (the longest you will find in one of the big brand is 2 and a half hours). Why not support those companies? We keep supporting these lame big brands so that they can turn around and charge us more for worse products.

Exactly, the km1986 is same rpm as wahl magic clip, and the battery lasts for 5 hours.. and the build quality is so much better build with metal unlike the plastic wahl..an advice, just replace the blade eith a ceramic one and u r good to go

I used mine from the same brand but it was the gold edition. Mine was as strong if not stronger than regular magic clips, and they have a more robust and heavier feel too. The only complain or issue i have is the lever, a bit flimsy but it's allright.

One thing too. Just because you buy a name brand clipper and expensive it doesn't mean it good. I bought a Magic clip and last me 5 month an it broke and i bought a Kemei clipper and i still have it and it been 1 year an a half, so just because the clippers are cheaper it doesn't mean is not good. And battery life is great, i have all diffrent type of clipper from 30 dollar to 250 dollar and beleave me i rather go with the cheap one. It just few things that are different from both clippers ofcourse.
