Sibling love is probably not exactly what she was looking for. So I could imagine even knowing about Aqua that she would still be just as motivated in finding the killer, especially after the info she got from the white haired girl and even more so if Aqua were to ever explain his side since because of him, the killer, she'll never have her dream of meeting the doctor as a significant other even if he was reborn.

6:53 Few things to note about the "middle-school aged boy"; japan's middle school age is 12-15, which is a fair bit older than its equivalent in most western countries and is probably the reason for the confusion. It's also bordering on Ai's mid-pregnancy age of 15-16, which all alludes to the blonde kid at the hospital being Aqua/Ruby's father. However, the more creepy side to this is that Himekawa, their half-brother on their father's side, is four years older than the twins. That blonde boy was at *most* 11 years old when Himekawa was conceived, which gives a lot more context to his mentality.

Ruby going dark is unironically more creepy and unnerving than Dark Star eyed Aqua to be honest but that literally could just be because considering her sweet energetic personality you wouldn’t really expect her to go down that route but now considering what she just found out it makes sense which is why I think the animators who worked on the scene of her stars turning black did that scene PERFECTLY because it lowkey gave me chills (Also it was in fact confirmed that Mamoru Miyano aka Light Yagami’s is the voice for Ruby and Aqua’s dad!)

And I cannot WAIT to see him more down the line. You know one of if not the FUNNIEST thing about this season is that I actually looked at a bunch of anime reaction channels on KZbin and I looked at the view counts for Oshi no Ko s2 compared to season 1, and literally on EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, the view counts for each episode of s2 were WAY lower than what they were for s1!!! That how little it was being talked about!!! But THANKFULLY this last episode was trending ALL OVER Twitter AS IT SHOULD!!! 4:58- 8:22 by the way, this entire section of the episode is the adaptation of chapter 79 of the manga, and still to this day I still get absolutely Excited and get goosebumps Every time I re-read that Chapter, No matter HOW MANY TIMES I go back to it.

THIS is the moment i have been waiting for ever since i binged the manga after S1. the irony that Aqua finally let his Dark Star fade and chose to live a normal life and IMMEDIATELY afterwards Ruby gains not only her own, but TWO Dark Stars (i always saw it as one for Ai and one for Amamiya Gorou, since Aqua only had one for Ai) is just incredible writing. My personal theory is the crow girl is the god of entertainment, and since aqua was already on the revenge path but now has dropped it she is intervening and and guiding ruby to the revenge path, i think shes pissed their dad has been snuffing out high end and high potential entertainers and wants someone to stop them. Ai was a prodigy and would have likely gone on to be one of the biggest stars of her generation, himikawas (step dad now confirmed) was an actor but wasn't very good and his mom was apparently pretty talented and i personally believe aqua and rubys dad played a hand in their deaths then we see the end credit girl with stars in her eyes being killed, and the stars in non main characters seem to indicate entertainers performing at their best so she was most likely also an entertainer. Crow girl is mad he keeps killing entertainers with potential thats her domain so she wants him stopped. Also the little detail when we get to rubys wish it jump cuts to crow girl smiling maybe she chose to grant that wish and aqua is going to be back on revenge time

I really need to know what their dad's deal is. From what we've seen so far, he killed his partners after impregnating them(assuming he did kill that couple which I'm sure he did). My theory: Aqua and Ruby's dad is a serial killer. His M.O. is to seduce and impregnate skilled, promising female artists and then kill them after they give birth. Now this begs the question, why? I think he is of the same mind as that one guy who thinks kids that have experienced trauma make for better entertainers, so the dad's goal is to create great artists. He's clearly a narcissist, as we see when he talks to Ai in the graveyard, so he combines his "superior" genes with those of his victims and then gives the children what he thinks is the best environment to foster their skills.

@@DarkSkyLady she's not really that much of an important character, just an actor who Hikaru killed coz she surpassed Ai in stardom This scene wasn't supposed to happen now but during the middle of season 3 but i guess they decided to do it to hype ppl up for the next season, Which makes me wonder how they'll handle it's buildup
