The main refrain of the song, "wish you were here", is so apropos, given that so many people are separated from each other due to this COVID-19 social distancing, and therefore long for the companionship that is being denied them. Cover is Close to original, but his voice is different. Imagine if this guy was sing ing this song 40 years ago. It will never be so famous. Original David"s voice is very specific and masculine. Nobody can't beat that (in this song).
