It's 2023 and I will never tire of Andy Powell and wishbone Ashes music. The first album in 1971 in my opinion is one of the greatest debut in albums of all time. This track along with Handy took up a full side of the vynal LP and is a masterpiece.🏴🏴🏴☮️😎🎸👍😁🏴🤓

This song..takes me back. Listening to it on vinyl, mind expanded as wide as the universe, the world swirling around you mixed in with the guitar riffs, then suddenly his voice breaks through the surface dancing around and bouncing off the walls. You roll your eyes back and explore the universe in your mind, fused with Wishbone Ash. Good times.

Wishbone Ash were a beautiful band. Seen them live several times with Andy and Martin. Think a couple since illuminations. Always take me back to my youth.

Heard this band in Stroud (UK) in 73 and became an immeadiate accolite .... Fabulous at Bardsney later that year unbelieveable ........... Throw down the sword the best twin lead guitar riff solo still. A master class for those wanting to lead. Still love the all the old staff upto four ......... May their Pheonix always rise .... The ASHhhhhhh .

I saw Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash in October - they were unbelievably brilliant, couldn't possibly have been better. I went to see them as someone who just liked them a lot and came out as a complete fanatic. The most underrated band ever in the UK. They're in my top ten bands of all time.

My uncle also introduced me to this band when I was a teenage kid back in the mid seventies - Live Dates on a super high quality hi fi system, my mind was truly opened and I still play that CD once a week or so to this day and I'm 51 now.

Andy is a trooper, keeping Ash alive...in fine voice too. We have a nice little bastion of WA fans here in NW Ga, some even make it to AshFest every time...It was cool when Laurie, Trevor,Steve and Andy were the band, they partied with my friends after the ATL show in 1981....cool guys.

Saw them in RI two nights ago. Best 20 bucks I ever spent. Different guitarist and drummer...both great. They ended with Phoenix. It was truer to the original than this performance. It was as intense a song I've seen performed live in years. See this band! Great performance rock! Fabulous!

I believe that sometime around 1970 Deep Purple were preparing for a gig and Ash were support before they had a record deal. Ritchie Blackmore was jamming and then Andy Powell plugged himself in and the two started jamming together. If they shared the riff then, then they both took advantage of it. Great one guys! PS You will also find it on Genesis - The Knife.
