May God bless Andy Powell for carrying this wonderfull stuff through the centuries!

the seventies produced so many great bands. Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Wishbone Ash, Uriah Heep, Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull, Status Quo, Creedence....... I am very happy I was a teenager and was able to appreciate the great songs released back then. and still most of those old codgers can play a pretty mean tune. This is just one of them.

Wishbone Ash rocks ! Saw them 2 times here in France, I was the youngest in the audience (that counted only 50 people each time, my French fellows do not know what true music is), and they were amazing ... The best show I saw, along with Marillion

Its funny as I think about how my dad went to an Ash concert around 1970, when he was 15. And 2 years ago, when I was 15, I got to a Wishbone Ash concert with my dad and it was clearly one of the best concerts Ive ever seen.

heard this intro 35 yrs ago and could never forget it, today I play it with my 11 yr old daugther when giving her guitar lessons, and she seem to catch on! its so melodic, relatively easy and fun to do as a duet. Think its perfect as a lesson piece.

This is the song that reminds me most of the Wishbone Ash classic sound that I played on my 8-track, while driving my van thru the mountains into Aspen in Oct. of 74'. Great feeling/atmosphere of youth.

I've seen this band more than any other, about 25 times at the last count over five or six years. Lineup changes, the lot. They're still awesome - guitarists obsessed with the newest, fastest shredders could learn something from these guys. They really did pioneer dual-guitar harmony and it's difficult to find anyone that betters them.

I've seen wishbone ash about 5 times have their music DVDs, play their music on guitar... got some signed stuff, spoken to andy.... and Wishbone ash are simply one of my favorite bands. My fav lead guitarist they ever had was 'Mark Birch' .. although not one to create their 'best' stuff... his playing and tone was superb. Andy has amazing tone and playing also. His fender supersonics and matamps are great with his pickups and BOSS EQ pedal.

its a great track to play on guitar. I was in a band at college, I've always been that rare kind of guitarist that stands away from the front of the stage and goes about his business in an unassuming way. It was always great to just launch into this and see people in the crowds reaction when this kid at the back of the stage play something like this.

Progressive rock (often shortened to prog or prog rock) is a form of rock music that evolved in the late 1960s and early 1970s as part of a "mostly British attempt to elevate rock music to new levels of artistic credibility." Considering that WA began in 1969 in the UK, and continue to this day, I would say that they have more then earned the lable "Prog Rock."
