I love going to the zoo when it rains. Not a heavy rain but more of a light drizzle. Not only is it less crowded but all the animals are more active because it's not so hot.

Our daughter, son-in-law, and their 3 children just got home from camping very near Cape May. This is the second summer they have vacationed there. They had no idea about the zoo. If they go again next summer they will surely be looking for it.

Love your flosstubes! It's just like a visit with friends, and a chance to stitch with you. I feel like I always learn something, but, don't walk away thinking 'I have to run buy all the things'. Love it!! Liz, if you ever get the chance to see the Heinz hitch,I find them more impressive than Busch. I actually got to go in the stalls with them once and help unbraid the manes after a parade. Fun fact, they unbraid manes after each event even if they are heading directly to another event, too much damage to the mane hair if left braided. Thanks ladies!!

Another lovely visit and stitching time with you both😊. Deb, congratulations on Logan's marriage! So glad you were able to avoid this miserable hot and humid weather we've been having when the big day arrived! I love the By the Bay piece you were stitching on today. Those sheep will look lovely all done up in French knots😊. Liz, your talking about Hershey Park brought back many happy memories for me. We went there every summer back in the 70s. A family friend worked for Hershey's and would meet up with us and take us all around the park. I personally loved the Chocolate World ride. Then we always made a stop at Roadside America on our way back home. Such very fond memories 😊. Have a great time doing all your summer things!

Well, so far not warm, one day 80's😢. Could use beyond 60's, 70's, but when you live by the biggest lake ever, always most days wind. Lake Superior where all ships from around world come in, though our Ariel Bridge, in Canal Park. Not the best place to visit this summer😢. You ladies are like always a joy to Stitch and visit with❤❤😊

Hi Deba and Liz I'm back and it has been a little while and I am so far behind on my floss tube so I do apologize. I started new starts this year of 37 and added 4 more new starts in May and I am doing Christmas in July with Dena Half cross stitch and have kitted up about 12/15 new starts. So I will have about 50/55 new starts this year and enjoying working on each and every one of them. May was a very busy month for my hubby and I because we went to Indiana to see my grand daughter graduate from Hight School. Her class was 1,360.00 students to graduate and it was about 3 1/2 hours. Whew!!! She will be going to Ball State University in September is majoring in Art and her brother will be starting Hight School and does Ice Hockey and Football. July will also be a busy month for my hubby and I. We just celebrated on July 2nd 52nd Anniversary and 27 July I turn 72 . Ladies where does the time go. Always love seeing your channel. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat

Ms. Liz. If you are gonna make a trip to Busch Gardens (in my hometown), you should come down during their Christmas Town time. You can still see the Clydesdales and they usually have some type of holiday garb on for pictures. There are LOTS of plays and things inside, and hot cocoa for sale that’s AMAZING, and you can ride some rides, depending on the temperature. And the lights….i don’t know how they do it! Especially since they have a Halloween setup right before. If it’s gonna be a “lifetime” trip, that’s when I would make the trek. Watch for tickets!!!

The Clydesdale horses at kept at the AB brewery..which was near my house years ago. We walked over to see them frequently. More animals at Grants Farm. Clydesdale farm with babies about 1 1/2 hour West on 70. The Arch and grounds. Lots of other fun things. Also Colour and Cotton has a store in West Co.
